Four Weeks of Summer - Alive and Awesome

In Red Deer, we love to have a good time – all through the summer you’ll find us celebrating with amazing music, colorful street performers, incredible food and lots of fun.

For the next 4 weeks Red Deer will be alive and awesome!

Starting this weekend Red Deer hosts Canada’s Gospel Music Celebration and we expect visitors from across western Canada and the US. Enjoy 3 days of incredible music from the likes of Sweet Presence, The Blackwood Bros., Potters Clay and The Hoppers.

After that we don our jeans, celebrating Westerner Days – July 18 to the 22nd. There are some exciting new changes to the 2012 event and it promises to be one of the best yet. Young families will definitely want to check out the new Adventure Alley, designed specifically for young children. 

Just as Westerner Days wraps up – we head straight into CentreFest – July 27th to the 29th where downtown streets are transformed into mini stages hosting international street performers. Always a popular event, the schedule features both new and returning performers. And yes.. Spandy Andy will be there too. 

We end July with 7 days of western Canada’s only nostalgic car event during Rock n Red Deer. Car enthusiasts would be crazy to miss this event!
