Can you pls write about wee little babs welcoming their CEO!daddy Luke home after a day of work for blurb night? :D
The sound of the door opening caused all three of your children’s heads to snap up.
You smiled to yourself from where you sat on the sofa, laptop on your knee from where you’d been working from home. As the door clicked shut, Theo, Scarlett and Finn all jumped to their feet, the boys abandoning the cars they’d been racing and your daughter leaving her drawing in preparation for their father.
“I’m home!” Luke called as he entered the room, laughing as the three of them sprinted towards him. He barely had time to react before they’d thrown themselves at him, each of them holding onto one of his limbs. “Did you miss me?”
“Daddy you’ve been gone forever.” Theo whines, causing Luke to laugh again as he picks Finn up in one arm, your youngest child snuggling his face into his father’s neck. “Did you miss us?”
“I’ve only been gone a few hours little man. But of course I missed you.” Luke grins, ruffling Theo’s hair before your eldest runs back to sit beside you on the sofa, causing you to put your laptop on the coffee table so he could curl into your side. Your husband attempts to follow, only struggling to move when he realises your daughter was sitting on his foot. “Alright down there Princess?”
The four year old giggles, only hugging tighter to his leg. Luke looks up at you and grins even more, sending you a wink as he crouches down, Finn still clinging to his neck as Scarlett stands up. Using his free arm, he picks her up too, another giggle falling from her lips as he walks over to the sofa, collapsing down on Theo’s other side.
“Hello Pretty Girl.” He sighs as Finn crawls across you both onto your lap, allowing Scarlett to take the primary seat on his knees. You hum in response, leaning across your children to brush your lips against his briefly. “Did you miss me?”
“A little.” You shrug, Luke smirking as Theo wines in protest at being squashed. “Although I had your children to keep me company.”
“Oh so they’re my children suddenly?”
“You try watching Robin Hood three times in a row and tell me whose children they are.”
“Fair enough.” Luke chuckles, eyes moving back to Scarlett as she places her hands on his neck. “Yes Princess?”
“Presents?” She asks innocently, eyes that resembled Luke’s wide. You laugh at the question, whilst both of your sons’ heads pop up to look at their father. “It’s Friday.”
“So it is.” Luke hums, patting your knee before standing up. Theo scrambles up to his side whilst Scarlett wiggles out of his arms, both of them ready to go. “Go and get Daddy’s briefcase then.”
The two of them race off, Finn crawling out of your lap before trotting after them. You stand up also, allowing Luke to pull you into his side as he turns to press another kiss to your lips.
“Do I get a present?” You smile, making him chuckle against your lips.
“How about another baby?” He grins, tightening his grip around your waist as your hands find his neck. “That a good enough present?”
Your response is cut off by the thud, followed by a cry from Finn. You smile, pecking his lips again before untangling from him and heading towards the sound, winking over your shoulder.
“Well come on Mr CEO. The quicker we sort out your children, the quicker we can start making the next one.”
