A    BLOOD   LUST    INBOX    MEME.

Grimmjow likes to push boundaries, see how far he can go, dancing across the line until he triggers an explosion. Maybe that’s what inspired him to play this particular game, seated as he is across the larger espada’s lab, one clawed hand capturing the man by a large wrist.

The source of the blood is long gone, vanished down the Diez’ gullet no doubt, but the remains are free earnings. A prop for Grimmjow’s entertainment.

Blue eyes watch intently for any indication of impending threat as his jaw lolls open, cat-rough tongue snaking out to slowly drag through the thick red coating of blood on Yammy’s large finger. His teeth mere millimeters from biting out their own morsel.

          This was exhausting.  Day in and day out going out of her way to help him.  If it hadn’t been for the fact that he   -   no,  that wasn’t the truth.  She probably would have helped him anyway.  Something that annoys her a little bit to acknowledge.  Cirucci sighs when she drops the Adjuchas into his mouth,  skittering away to plop down onto the expanse of his chest to make sure she was at a safe distance.  She leans back on her hands,  resting her weight as he eats and thanks her for it.

          “It’s fine.”  Cirucci says dismissively,  waving a hand in the air briefly before settling it back behind her even though he can’t see it.  If he didn’t say thank you,  then she didn’t feel the need to say thank you either.  It was easier that way.  “The sooner you heal,  the better off   -   ”  she pauses,  nearly saying  ‘ we are ’  as if implying there was a  ‘ we ’  at all,  “   -   the better it will be.”   /  @cer0diez​  (cont.)

Grimmjow doesn’t quake under the force of Yammy’s ‘friendly’ shoulder pat. Not that he’d admit it, but he likes the espada’s easy tactility. Fuck knows not even his fraccion touch him so carelessly. It’s a nice change of pace, but it doesn’t mean Yammy gets to get away with slighting him.

“I ain’t a cat,” he scoffs, tongue clicking against his teeth. No more a cat than he is a shinigami. “And I ain’t worried, if that’s what yer thinking.” Yammy’s right about that at least. Grimmjow is no push over. He can handle anything, he’s a survivor.

“I mean hell. No big hole or that shit. Didn’t you know? Szayel was ravin’ bout it way back. When we die there ain’t no ‘dust to dust’ or purification for us. It’s just straight down all the way.” Not that it surprised him when he learned. Death is too good for them. Hell makes more sense.

“Bet you’d do just fine. Crushing skulls and shit like that....” Blue eyes slant sideways to watch Yammy crunch through his meal. “Aizen has a pit? Not that would be a hell, fuck that.”

'Hmm?'   who's yelling when he's trying to nap?  he almost feels his temper flare.  cracking open an eye ... oh. it's the cat.  the blue is ever so bright ... and somewhat soothing .  he shifts his arms, putting them behind his head instead.

'If ya wake me I'll crush yer skull.'   he says with a yawn, closing his eyes again.

Grimmjow snorts and climbs gracefully onto the larger arrancar. Yammy is stupid big and he’s stupid warm and Grimmjow is not above abusing that for his own gain.

“You fuckin’ try and I’ll bite out yer hole.” He says out of principle, but a fight is not worth the wasted effort when he’s already getting what he wants. He still drops his head dangerously close to the edge of the black expanse when he settles down, but it only takes him a few moments to fall lax, lulled by Yammy’s warmth and the calming rise and fall of his chest.

The ivory sands of Hueco Mundo rise for a moment at his footfalls, the uniform grains of white falling over his tabi and waraji and working their way between his toes. It’s one of the things he finds annoying about this place, in addition to the endless night sky and unchanging moon above providing no sense of location whatsoever. Still, it’s the only place he can go to train nowadays, aside from Muken, and he tends to avoid that place given the inordinate amount of work required to get in and out. Here, he can just tear open a hole in space with his Shikai and walk through, like a bootleg Garganta.

His eye closes, his weapon rested on his shoulder. He fills his lungs with the air, the lingering scent of Hollow blood and the taste of dryness filling his mouth and nose, but the baleful atmosphere is not expelled quickly. He needs control and temperance in order to truly get used to his Bankai, since the only thing that could conceivably threaten him in that state is his own power going out of control. Kenpachi mentally prepares himself, his weapon slowly rising...

Then his eye opens, turning to gaze upon the large being some distance away. Nozarashi drops back to his shoulder, and his head tilts, curious.

“...i’m impressed, big guy. you didn’t die.”

Four Headcanons! || Accepting

Send a 👫and I’ll write four headcanons I have about our muse’s relationship

1. I’ve always imagined that Grimmjow doesn’t really mind Yammy. He’s stupid and hangs around Ulquiorra too much, but otherwise he’s not an unpleasant person. Both Yammy and Grimmjow are creatures of anger, so Grimmjow has a fairly good pulse on the other arrancars temper and can avoid (or aggravate for his own amusement) Yammy when he gets too irate. He’s also not that strong in his sealed form - so Grimmjow never feels threatened by him.

2. When Yammy is in a foul mood Grimmjow can pick up on it in his scent and reiatsu - and it makes him angry too. Like a psychological emotional dominoes.

3. Yammy is actually fairly... concerned? (idk if this is the right word) about Grimmjow following his demotion. I’m undecided if this is concern about Grimmjow’s strength/fighting ability or about his potentially incurring Aizen’s wrath again. Luppi pulls rank though so he lets it go.

4. Yammy gives off way more heat than Grimmjow does and in a cold desert, that is a luxyre Grimmjow will not pass up the chance to nap on.

It’s impossible not to notice Yammy. The man seems to occupy at least 10% of any rooms he’s in, ever, no matter how big the room is. It makes it hard to ignore him, even when Grimmjow is actively trying (which is a rare occurrence considering Grimmjow’s own paranoia around his ‘brethren’ in the Espada).

However, being aware of, and paying attention to the particular actions of, Yammy are not the same thing.

And so when Yammy’s large finger sinks into the soft part of Grimmjow’s side between his ribs and hips, he makes...

A noise.

An embarrassing noise.

A noise that an Espada should not be making.

“Mmrrrp?!”
