I am very late on everything so let's pretend it's a week of saturdays :') A question for you:

What is the story of some of your characters scars, and how do they feel about them?

If your character doesn't have any scars, how WOULD they feel about them? Can they scar or do they have something about them that prevents scarring?

OH neat one yay

You see, I don't have anything as much as a vague mental scar map or anything, but let's try!

Espa probably has a scar on her leg where it was broken as a punishment. They don't think much about it

Kaiki can technically self regenerate but I like scars so he gets them too! There's a bit one on his chest where he was vivisected once. Twice. He feels nauseous looking at most of them at first, it takes a while to get over it.

Before being captured and getting said regeneration powers he had mostly one nasty scar on his shoulder where his ex-girlfriend shoved him on the floor.

Now some scars he does like eventually are his top surgery scars :) one day he'll get them I promise

Dimitri has a fuckton of scars everywhere. Many on its hands. But she wears gloves most of the time so few notice it

Ceres has just very few at the beggining of the story! She was pretty sheltered but was quite a reckless kid. Sensory insensitivity (is that what you call it?) led Little her to go around messing with a lot of stuff just for the input XD there were quite a few accidents. (<- Still considering that one) There's one light burn scar on her hand probably.

Aiden has a lot. More than Kaiki probably. Since he cant regenerate. There were a few on his arm! But well.

Oh yeah and some drawings I never posted! Unlikely I'll finish them but they were some prompt fills with different beds (like bunk bed and pile of straw bed) and these are so neat but I didn't share the ones I did line because I was waiting till I had all of them ready...lmao

Characters: Ceres

Name: Eduarda Arkisto Cakó Ceres Cakó. (She changes her name over the course of the story.)

Role: Co-protagonist/deuteragonist

Gender: Cis girl (perisex). She/her.

Age: Sixteen. Not sure about her birthday.

Family: [Unnamed] (biological mom), Dainel (father figure).

Link: The Archive. (Allows her to copy other people's powers and store them for later use. Her limit is three slots. If she stretches that, it's painful, exhausting and dangerous.)

Backstory: Ceres was the only daughter of a poor single woman, who named her "Eduarda". When a certain group of researchers offered a decent sum of money to raise the kid for her in exchange of using her for a project, she accepted. Ceres was raised by said researchers for Project Arkisto, meant to study her unique power and broaden the scientific understanding of magic anomalies like hers, where she was renamed "Arkisto" and given the surname of one of the project managers, Dainel. She was given an "ideal" childhood and raised with care. The Project's latest demand is putting her in a good school she can make friends in.

Personality: Energetic, curious, compliant, compassionate, righteous.

Trivia:

Ceres has autism and low empathy.

Ceres really likes biology. Her favorite animals are frogs.

Ceres is very fond of books and discovered the name "Ceres" when researching about Roman Mythology in the library she has access to.

Ceres isn't allowed a lot of autonomy or privacy. (Ramble)

Ceres is asexual, aromantic and aplatonic. She is also plato-favourable.

Ceres favorite colors are hot pink and orange, along with leaf green.

She is usually dressed in frilly white dresses, all pristine, and doesn't have a say in her wear.

Ceres is quite sociable but never had any close aquaintances her age because her caretakers were always moving her from school to school, because apparently no school was ever appropriate enough. This has left her feeling constantly alienated and she never felt like she ever fit in.

Ceres would be quite the chaotic teen were she permitted to show that.

Ceres has a doll motif.

She's tried learning to play the flute before. It did not go very well.
