These are my OC’s, but I generally have a difficult time writing flirting because I just honestly don’t know what constitutes as flirting. I don’t notice it in real life, and if it weren’t for the hearts in game, I wouldn’t know it there either. If I say something flirty, it is unintentional most of the time. So writing something I have a very difficult time understanding is difficult. *shrug* I try though, and hopefully this won’t read too strangely.

For Ellie. If she can choose to grow up with only one of her brothers, and never see the other one, would she choose: a) grow up with one of them (which one?) or b) never seen any of them?

This….this is a horrible question! How dare!

She…she could not make that decision! She loves her brothers, BOTH of them! choosing between them is like choosing to be bereft of air in your body or water - you need both.

Honestly, she would opt to kill their parents before having to choose between her brothers. 

But if she had to choose between a and b….she has to go with b. At least away from her they will not have the stigma of magic attached to them.

Oh definitely. No question. They would have run off to the boarding school with Elodie if they could. Their father is awful to them, their mother is a borderline alcoholic who doesn’t care - they would have much preferred to have been with their older sister who they remember with great fondness and love.

For Ellie. What is her biggest fear?

She has two huge fears in her life: never having a family and becoming tranquil. 

After her family essentially abandons her because of her magic, she becomes very focused on creating her own family. She constructs it out of friends at either the Circle of the Boarding School. She fears losing whatever family she has and fights tirelessly to keep everyone safe.

Her fear of becoming tranquil is wrapped up in her first love. She fell in love with Nav, who was turned tranquil and was unable to feel any love for Elodie anymore. She lost part of her family there, and realized that becoming tranquil was inhumane and evil, she fears and hates it equally.

For Katra. What is the one thing in her life that will never fail to make her cr?

People assuring her of her worth. She has gotten very comfortable with the idea that she doesn’t have a whole lot of individual worth. Her worth, in her mind, is completely bound up in what she does for other people. So when someone says “YOU are wonderful” or “I love YOU”, it messes up this carefully constructed view of herself of being the most amazing person ever for her friends yet worthless as a person. This is part of the reason she is constantly trying to help people - she sees that as the only way to gain worth.

@cerulione asked of Katra, Elodie, Tomas, and Tristan:  are you an ocean or forest person? are you an ice cream or slushie person? are you a sunrise or sunset person?

Katra: She prefers fields and meadows in general, so I guess she would be more into forests. Ice cream, definitely. And sunset definitely, she is NOT a morning person, oh no. (Fenris shakes his head in the background)

Elodie: Ocean, she finds the waves to be extremely relaxing and it helps her contemplate life and things. She doesn’t really have a sweet tooth...so neither? And she likes sunrises, she finds the isolation and stillness of the sunrise to be calming and strangely comforting.

Tomas: Oh boy, he has the worst allergies so he can’t do forests and he’s phobic of sharks so he doesn’t really like oceans either. He also had a really unfortunate experience with jellyfish when he was younger. Nature has not been easy on him so he is much more of a city person. He likes ice cream, his favorite flavor is salted caramel with bits of fudge in it. He likes sunset, but his favorite time of day is twilight - the sky is so beautiful then. He’s an insomniac as well, so he see s a lot of the night and finds the dark much nicer than the light.

Tristan: For as fragile looking as he is, the kid is a bit of a daredevil. He is not just a forest person, he is a month-long-hike-up-a-mountain-then-base-jump off it kind of forest person (every time he does something like this, he toasts himself saying “Take that, father!”). Slushie person definitely. He prefers sunrises, especially when he’s sitting on a big mountain.

Mostly correct! Aili’s favorite season is autumn because of all the tasty food and apples are in season shush, but if she had to choose between summer or winter, she’d pick summer. Because flowers and fresh fruit and sunshine. She loves both strawberries and blueberries, but she likes strawberries better. And She definitely likes muffins over scones.

Katra: Winter (summer makes her gross and sweaty), strawberries, and muffins

Miriel: Summer (she hates being cold), blueberries, and don’t make her decide between baked goods - she loves them all

Elodie: Winter (she adores the clothing and the snow), blackberries are her favorite but she will take strawberries usually over blueberries, and scones
