Cesaro- Regret
He'd never forget the taste of her lips, the way she moaned his name. Cesaro had watched her dancing with some of the women's roster. The way she moved called to him. A siren from the depths willing him to drown within her. Sneaking up behind her they danced. Before long they were quietly slipping away from the rest of the party.
Driving back to his hotel entranced by the way her fingers trailed along his chest. She shoved him through the door the second it was closed. Nibbling his neck and palming him over his jeans. Clothes dropping and getting thrown across the room. He worshipped each and every curve, every valley, and peak was met with his touch.
Rough wasn't his nature at least not in the bedroom. Teasing her folds with his tongue. Nipping and suckling her clit. Her nails dug into his back moaning his name like it was a prayer sent from the heavens above.
Her eyes rolled closed when he stuffed himself inside. Pining her wrist above her head, thrusting slowly and hard. Hips rolling and grinding together. Her lips were plump and bruised but he couldn't stop kissing her. She tasted like strawberries after a drizzle of spring rain.
Sultry mewls sang from her mouth each time he brought her over the edge. Blissed out and panting. Her body writhing beneath him. For hours he ravished her until she couldn't take anymore. Falling asleep with her curled up on his chest. They didn't speak only drifted to sleep. When he woke in the morning she was gone, not a hint of her anywhere except the faint scent of sex on the sheets.

She'd been switched from Smackdown to Raw and she was gone before he was given the chance to confess face-to-face. He wanted to tell her he wanted more than just that night. Make a long overdue confession but it never happened. Off on different tours across the country. Too far away from him yet again.
Away on the road in different towns, hardly a moment to call or text her back. He kept telling himself he would after this workout, after this match but constant interruptions. Autograph signings, pictures, interviews, one event after another he couldn't ignore. Next thing he realized days had turned into months.
How could he explain it now after all that time? What good would a confession be when time passed would have made it appear as if it wasn't worth taking a few moments to acknowledge? Perhaps if given the chance to see her face, to explain it she'd understand it was more than a one-time thing?
Cesaro showed up to Raw to watch his colleagues and friends, to get a chance to explain his actions to her. And catch a show he did in search of her. Turning down a hallway in the back of the arena he saw her in the distance. Sheamus advanced on her with a scowl on his brow as his chest bumped her into the wall. About to say something fearing Sheamus was overstepping his bounds.
Y/n smirked slinking her arms around his neck and tugging him closer. The kiss turned heated, Sheamus growling. Every man worth his salt knew that lust-filled growl. She was up off her feet and thrown over his shoulder in a flash. Smacking her ass making her laugh.
Sheamus noticed movement at the end of the hall and smiled at Cesaro. Calling out to his best friend beckoning him to come over as he set Y/n on her feet. Cesaro's eyes met Y/n's. The two exchanged a knowing glance as she linked her hand through Sheamus'. A silent way of saying they were together and Cesaro's chance had long since disappeared.
In a shared moment of regret, Cesaro could see the tears well up in her eyes. He had had a chance, the chance of a lifetime but he couldn't even make the bare minimum attempt to show it was something more. Couldn't find the time to type out a simple text, or take a moment, just one minute to call to show she meant something more.
Cesaro closed his eyes, softly shaking his head. If he'd made the time to call her, if he'd just sent a text even if it was in the dead of night he wouldn't have walked in on that. It might have been the other way around, someone else walking in on him and Y/n. Turning he walked away ignoring the confused call of Sheamus behind him.
He'd always remember that night with Y/n. It'd be the biggest regret of his life but he'd cherish every second of it even if it hurt.
