Shinichi deserves to have a mental breakdown imo
i know people view heiji as bisexual but he reminds me of a gay boy who hasn't realized that he's actually falling for his boy best friend because he's conditioned by society that having a girlfriend should be a thing
the way he's just "oblivious" about his feelings to kazuha and yet he's head over heels about shinichi like are you sure that he's just "oblivious?? 😭😭
the way kazuha is introduced by mistaken shinichi as heiji's "secret girlfriend" because the way he talks about him could be something out of a gay comedy plot
and then the same episode where he gave his charm that symbolizes his love interest to shinichi as a way to protect him
and the way agasa (the guy who watched him grew up) calls heiji when shinichi needs help (the guy who always keeps to himself
idk man the way they were written could pass as a mlm love story they really put the ROMANCE on the bromance
Heiji plays one of the most important roles in Shinichi's life and Shinichi actually likes him back but y'all aren't ready to have that conversation
rip shinichi kudo you would've hated influencer true crime podcast
guys calling heishin the "polar opposites" isn't the right word, like I don't even see that they are opposites to each other, if anything both are actually similar than people realize, both are equally passionate about their detective work and their hobbies and both share the sense of justice, heck they are even both literally can keep up with each other with deductions
heiji is basically shinichi with a different font (it's even pointed out in his first appearance in manga and anime, I kinda wish it would explore this aspect of hus character)
if I were to describe them, they are akin to sonic and shadow from sth, both are similar but the way they handle things is different
shinichi kudo deserves better writers
tbh I really like the netflix dub but I'm a little sad that they didn't bring up shinichi monologuing in conan anymore, one of my favorite parts of detco is that this small kid is monologuing in a deep voice shit talking
guys if sonic's corruption is about corrupting not just his physical body but his mental state into nothing
and shadow's body mutilated from black arms
what if silver's corruption is about pushing his body and powers into limits and further harming his body in process?? like some sort of overload (which is considering he has cyber futuristic aesthetics)
idk what would it be but maybe new au??
