Is Chicago Fire still planning on resolving Casey going missing on Chicago PD? –Chris Nope. Even though P.D. premieres before Fire, the firefighter’s storyline will not be addressed on the spinoff. “We operate a little bit in a separate universe” when P.D. returns, executive producer Matt Olmstead tells TVLine, likening it to a “detached timeline.” “We were mindful to not have too many of the characters from Fire on P.D. because that’s a little weird if they’re at Molly’s having drinks. Then why aren’t they talking about where Casey is?” (x)

Yaya (April) posted a pic of her and Taylor filming at Molly's. April is definitely appearing in 4X02. They probably are giving them some "closure" before going full on Rachel Nichols character on Severide. On another note, Oliver Platt (Dr Charles) will appear in Chicago Fire, episode 4x03.

Where We Left Off: Gabby learned she's pregnant, but when she went to Matt's place to tell him the shocking news, she found Katia  dead and Matt was missing, presumably taken by Nesbitt's shady peeps. What's Next: When Matt's eventually found (he can't be dead, right?), he and Gabby will have to decide what a baby will do to their broken engagement. Elsewhere, expect some new faces,  including The Vampire Diaries alum Steven R. McQueen, who recurs as a new candidate. Plus: The work drama isn't settling down for Severide, whose management skills are called into question over the high turnover rate on the squad. When the higher-ups bring in a new captain (Brian White), Severide must think long and hard about his future with Squad 3.

I'm thinking more and more about a potential accident or something happening to Dawson and the baby she is carrying around the winter finale. You know how much the writers love the drama.

Yes, I was thinking about that too. and now that Med is coming, they can use the pregnancy (and any potential accidents, injuries, etc) to creat a crossover.

They were filming a flashback scene over W Chesnut St. It looked like it was Casey's rescue. Jason (Voight) was seen on set and apparently Jon Seda (Antonio) was also there. We know that 4.02 will have lots of flashbacks from the night of Katya's murder. Erica Mabius (Nesbitt) is still around and Isabella (Katya) was also on set early this week.
