&. BIOGRAPHY
gia was born and raised in chicago. her parents wanted a big family, despite not quite having the funds to support it, and so she grew up in a tiny cramped house on top of nine other people (plus whatever grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins happened to be stopping by at the moment
basically, she’s only ever known chaos. growing up, there was no such thing as quiet. there was no privacy, there was no personal space. to this day, she gets the most work done in crowded coffee shops or with loud music blasting.
as loving as her parents were, they’d kinda given up on parenting by the time gia came along. they’re already raised six children, they were tired, and so gia grew up p much fending for herself with her older siblings as the closest thing she had to authority figures.
