Audrey was just minding her own business when she got a hunkering for pizza and arcade games. Her feet and stomach had minds of their own. So, she found herself in the parking lot of On The Bowl. It was a Wednesday so there weren’t a lot of cars parked around so she figured there shouldn’t be a lot of punk ass kids around either. Hopefully.
She didn’t expect Emma, or more over she forgot Emma worked at the bowling alley. She hadn’t talked to her in a while, but she did see her leaving a guy’s house the other day on one of her ‘clear your mind’ walks. Sebastian she thinks his name is. She recognized the guy because he was Emma’s ex. Kind of player type. Not that it mattered to Audrey. But she still thought it was dumb to reconnect with an ex. It was like putting toothpaste back in the tube. But she had already walked in and activated the electronic bell. Getting the other girl’s attention.
She walked up to the counter where Emma was standing behind. “Hey. Can I get twenty dollars on a game card and a personal pan pepperoni pizza?” She wasn’t trying to be stoic, but it came off that way.
