gonna post my Valentine's day drawings tomorrow, in the meantime get this redo tophabe at cloney island doodle

in the redo au abe still carries topher around sometimes just like in the death maze, but it's because one time topher injured his leg in gym class and he couldn't walk properly, abe had the idea and offered Topher to carry him around school so his injury wouldn't worsen, topher accepted and ended up linking it, so from that moment on topher sometimes says he's too tired so abe would do it again, sometimes he is tired and sometimes he just wants abe to carry him for no reason

also yes they have their regular show clothes but let's ignore that i was sleepy and dizzy while drawing that

the second drawing is just inspired by a joke my boyfriend made

I haven't posted in like a week i think. or maybe even less but to me it feels like a month. I need to get back to the grind (the grind has never stopped i just haven't drawn anything)

explanation of it below the cut bc i hate myself and I hate them and they suck

I was gonna add text so it would say "my dear abe/topher" etc but I couldn't decide a pov bc it fits them both

"you never showed up" after their argument, they both were expecting the other to come back instead of them reaching out, of course none of them did for the first months. this one is more topher, because he saw abe as someone who would put up with his shit all the time and come back, and during their argument abe brought up the fact that topher's a clone because he was angry he didn't think right, which really hurt topher so he was expecting him to apologize

"and now after looking at the newspaper I know why" both of them created new friendships, and they knew about the other's new friends,topher knew abe had confucius and jfk, and assumed joan too, abe knew about the bleacher creatures and that topher was one of them, that's when they thought the other one moved on

"I was just starting to dream etc etc" but none of them moved on really, sure they had their own friends but they still missed each other, and dreamed with being friends (or more) again. topher specifically has recurrent nightmares (even before knowing abe) and once he's on bad terms with abe he starts appearing sometimes

"i miss you and I will always miss you" pretty self explanatory, they miss each other. this is more abe's pov, in the timeline when they don't end up together abe is the one who's left alone missing topher (me when topher fucking dies for dramatic effect)

anyway god this is such a soap opera or whatever. i hate these guys and I hope they die
