🍃🏹➳ “I’m still alive,” she said, wincing as she opened one eye. This girl certainly wasn’t a human from the looks of her, but she didn’t exactly seem to be a monster either. Bruised and scratched from her fall through the ice-covered tree tops, she managed to land in a blanket of snow to cushion her fall.

      Vision still slightly unfocused, she glanced up, eyes narrowed as the magical portal she fell out of closed. That was the last time she let Abracadaniel teleport them anywhere, she could have been killed. She struggled and staggered to her feet, clutching onto the left side of her ribs, then turned her attention to the individual that had approached.

       “Hey, bone-guy, know which way the Candy Kingdom is?”

🍃🏹➳ “Forgive me,” the half-dryad spoke, after dropping the arrow into the snow. The lingering shadow behind her had startled her in this strange new world she found herself in, and in her haste, she had nearly stabbed him with it.

     “I’m not used to skeletons not trying to attack or eat me.” The comment might have come off as a bit more bigoted than she had intended, but it was true, the only skeletons she had experience with were aggressive and attacked on sight, usually yelling about wanting to eat some living flesh. She sort of forgot that things were different down here.
