Final Push // Blake & Jenna

Apparently, Jenna’s herbology knowledge had been woefully lacking, so it had taken some significant catching up to do in the greenhouse. It had almost been embarrassing to ask some of the potioneering and herbology students hanging around there for advice on what some of the plants did in combination with the ingredients they already used, but Jenna had sucked it up for the cause. Having the serum in working shape was more important than avoiding that awkward pit in her stomach when she had to speak to people she did not know well.
In her arms, she had a box full of several likely contenders to try out. Blake knew the serum best, and hopefully he would be able to help try out all of the new combinations. A part of Jenna worried that they would not get this done in time, but it made her feel a bit better to know that it worked to some degree. It just did not work well enough to really cause an impact. And once they finally figured out the last part? Making enough of it would be an adventure in itself.
“It’s me. I’ve got the plants all sorted out.” Jenna poked her head into where Blake had set up operations to see if he was in there. If not, she could of course text him, but she was all motivated to finish the project once and for all.
