Been messing around this this character concept. "Lyr" is, visually, your basic chainmail chick barbarian with very useful armor. She's obviously a continuation of the types of female characters I've drawn for years. She's very similar to Fawn Rainchild from Pan-Gea, for example.

Despite the overt juvenile exaggeration of boobs and bikini-style garb I am always drawn to this style. There's something basic about it. Something blood-moving and animal. A kind of primal energy that lures me in. One of the first times I remember feeling it was when I saw my first Frank Thorne Red Sonja comic.

I was considering doing a comic. But my luck with finishing comics lately has been terrible. Plus I still have a lot of work to do on the RPG. So we'll see.
