We got 14 days to speculate what kind of threat Asa and Denji will have to face. Considering Asa’s mental state and the way the devil revealed its presence via falling corpse I’m afraid of the kind of implications this devil is making.  

It’s nice to see Yoru acting more kindly to Asa as the poor girl keeps feeling more down on herself. The War Devil moving back and forth between genuine menace and genuine humanity is fascinating to see. Denji being passive-aggressive and Nayuta excitedly telling him to keep Chainsaw-ing is cute character-wise.  Chainsaw Man Plush! Yoshida wtf are you cooking.

CHAINSAW MAN - Chapter 121

Once again, Asa-さん have to face her duality : she has some ✨golden periods✨ when she finds her seriously attractive, almost self-confident and two pages later, we finds her totally down in the dumps without confidence in herself. It is why she is so REAL ! We pity her and this is not a spoiler.

One quote really stood out for me (a relevant translation), when she persuaded herself that Hirofumi-さん was hitting on her : "Maybe my proposal intrigued him and since that day I have not left his thoughts" (cf the first chapter of the second part). So embarrassing...

Apart from that, we'll be busting our stomach eating KFC (ty Asa for killing the chicken 😘) on March 7th, so leave yourself some room. To be continued...
