#challenge queries

Wouldn't it technically be better for the heir to have a blue skintone? Being a rainbowcy and all? ((sorry to bother, I don't mean to be rude))

I considered it! The last time I did anything PGC-y I always had heirs with white hair and eyes and the colourful skintone, but since I was starting from scratch I wanted to do it the other way round, no real reason :D In both cases I wanted them all to have one thing in common so I can look back on it later, and I can introduce new colourful skintones each gen :3

What's the difference between a wishacy and a legacy?

A legacy (the way I play it) is just a game with a founder in which I aim to get to 10 generations with something of a storyline, whereas in the wishacy all I can do is fulfil the founder’s (and now the rest of the family’s) wishes without the meddling, hehe!

Hey, I love your wishacy! Was wondering if there was any kinds of rules you follow, apart from only being able to choose actions your Sim wishes for?

Thanks :) Not really, to be honest. I make an exceptance for when she’s at work so the job actually gets done, and I let myself take care of her needs from when they’re in the yellow and onwards, so she doesn’t starve.

Question! How did you start out your legacy challenge? Did you do the thing with the knight and only starting with 1,800 simoleons or did you start with a full house? How many of the rules did you follow/not follow, or did you make your own set entirely?

I don’t ever really follow the rules properly (shame on me!), but I do tend to not use money cheats and buy only as much as they can afford, if that makes sense :) With the wishacy I follow the rules a lot mir closely (unless she’s at work).

With your wishacy (which is super cute, btw!), do you pin certain whims or do you let them reset every night?

It depends on the wish! If there was anything big like “get married” or “Have a child” I would definitely pin it, but regular wishes like “be friendly with someone” I usually let reroll.

what is a wishacy? :O sorry I dont already know from your blog I dont get to keep up with people alot.

It’s an interesting variation on a sims legacy, wherein only those things can be done that the founder or other eventual family members wish for. There’re a few exceptions to the rules... basically, the full guidelines for the challenge can be found here. It’s been pretty fun so far :)
