Similar to a social fraternity, Chi Omega was founded in 1895 at the University of Arkansas, and since then, the sorority has initiated more than 355,000 members. The premier support organization for advancing a sorority experience, the National Pan Hellenic Council is the umbrella organization of 26 women’s sororities. With more than 345,000 initiated members across its diverse group of 181 collegiate chapters and 240 alumnae chapters, Chi Omega is the biggest sorority in the National Panhellenic Conference.
