My Hufflepuff OC

Age: ?? Same year as the trio I guess

Wand: Apple wood, Unicorn hair core, 10 ¼ inches, slightly yielding

Patronus: Badger

Blood Status: Pure, Blood traitor

Companion(s): Wimzy(house elf), Thistle(a bowtruckle that she befriends in care for magical creatures), & Artemis(a barred owl she got from Eeylops Owl Emporium before the start of her first year)

Personality: Passionate, Kind, Caring, Nurturing, Fierce, Honest, Patient, Introvert, literal honey badger, pretty quiet but don’t fuck with her or her friends, wants to beat the tar out of Draco

Favorite subjects: Care for Magical Creatures, Herbology, & Potions

Flaws: She’s a little TOO honest and/or blunt sometimes. She can be pretty hotheaded when provoked. She’s great at brewing potions but it takes a few tries for get some potions right. She’s horrible at Arithmancy.

Bullies?: Other pure bloods torment her for being a blood traitor, for being disowned, or for being poor. Once someone snatched Thistle off her shoulder and teased they were gonna kill her. Hazel was so upset that the knockback jinx she cast gave the bully a concussion. Professor Sprout had to pretend to give her a punishment that would please the victim’s parents. But really Sprout just talked to her about being more careful and Hazel helped her harvest and replant things. This is what the parents thought to be punishment but Hazel loves Herbology and isn’t afraid to roll around in the mud.

Back Story: Hazel was a pure blood child born to pure blood parents of the Rosier family(non canon characters of course but they would most likely be cousins with any existing canon Rosiers) Now you would think she would most likely end up like Draco. But her parents never took the time to set her down that path. In fact, they hardly gave her any time at all because they were always busy with something. They were the type that wanted a child but not the responsibility. They got a house elf, Wimzy, ( her name courtesy of Mod Angel @undertale-imagine-that-the-2nd ) to tend to her. Wimzy was basically Hazel’s personal nanny. Hazel’s personality develops based on Wimzy and being left to her own devices, letting Hazel develop her own unique perspective of the world. And when she gets her Hogwarts letter and gets sorted she’s put into Hufflepuff. It baffles the sorting hat that a Rosier would go to Hufflepuff. Naturally her parents find out. 11 year old Hazel is both surprised and somewhat happy when she receives a letter from her neglectful parents. Until she reads it. They’ve disowned her and her young, innocent mind doesn’t understand at the time. She doesn’t even understand that she’s been disowned at first. This makes for a somewhat awkward and sad conversation with Professor Sprout. And to sum it up Hogwarts will be her new home.

Extra: She starts working on learning mermish in her third year. Her dream career is a magizoologist and Newt Scamander becomes her idol as she learns more about him. Considering she’s been disowned she’s completely cut off from a source of money. So, she often helps out anywhere she can to earn some. She especially loves helping Professor Sprout or Professor Kettleburn(until he retires and then she starts helping Hagrid)

More about Wimzy: After Hazel’s parents disown her they also kick Wimzy out, claiming she’s not good at her job and it’s her fault that their child became a reject. Wimzy is devastated to be homeless and jobless. She tries to find another family but after Hazel’s parents spread the news to others no one wants to hire her. After 2-3 months she finally realizes that maybe she doesn’t need a family. Even just one person would do and the first person that comes to mind is Hazel. Even if she is just a child still Wimzy pretty much raised her and can’t deny feeling an attachment. So, she goes to Hogwarts and is ready to beg. But she receives her answer before she even has a chance to ask the question. Upon spotting the elf Hazel can’t contain her joy. But she’s also confused as to why Wimzy is there. Hazel hadn’t even known of course, that Wimzy had been fired. And upon hearing this news she immediately invites Wimzy to stay with her. Wimzy is assigned to the kitchen and comes to Hazel anytime she’s needed. Wimzy is as devoted to Hazel as Dobby is to Harry.

More about Thistle: One day in Care for Magical Creatures they were learning about bowtruckles and Hazel noticed Thistle being ignored and left out by the other bowtruckles. So, Hazel offered her comfort and Thistle became attached.

Fun Facts: I thought her up when I saw some fan art of the mirror of erised with canon characters. I won’t say that she’s ever actually came in contact with the mirror but what I decided she’d see in it comes from her back story. Anyone recognize her last name? I wanted her to be a member of an already existing pure blood family. I also lowkey based part of her back story off of personal experience. I haven’t been disowned or anything that extreme but I’m very different than my parents. Her wand description is my actual pottermore wand. The badger isn’t my patronus though.

More About Hazel

& Wimzy

I had some random thoughts that I wanted to make a post about.

I feel like if some of the older students found out during Hazel’s first year that she had been disowned a good handful of them, probably mostly from her own house because she’s living with them and your housemates can be like family too you, would be really helpful. Some of them might’ve even been in similar situation and sympathize with her. They’re really supportive and generous. She’s given a Hufflepuff themed sweater that one of them made. Some of the students that are old enough to go to Hogsmeade bring her some sweets and butterbeer. Her favorites are cauldron cakes, pumpkin pasties, and chocolate frogs. This means a lot because her parents only gave her enough money to afford her school things and an owl. Wimzy accompanied her to Diagon Alley and the train. So, she didn’t have enough for any sweets from the trolley and she’d badly been wanting to try some. And when she receives these gifts she starts practically sobbing.

And an extra bit about Wimzy. I had a thought that it wouldn’t set well with Hazel that Wimzy is supposed to be her slave. But Hazel also doesn’t realize that the elf is technically her slave until her second or third year because she’s a kid and just didn’t know. But when she discovers this she immediately gives Wimzy the Hufflepuff sweater mentioned in the first paragraph. It had started to feel too small on her but it fits Wimzy perfectly. Wimzy panics at first because she thinks she’s done something wrong and Hazel wants to get rid of her. But Hazel explains that she just wants Wimzy to be free to do what she wants. Hazel sees Wimzy like family. Like a mother. Not like a slave.

I got a little sloppy when I was inking it but oh well. It looks decent enough. I think I’ll draw her again in a different pose in the future.

My Air/Wind Elemental OC: Undertale version!

I’ve been needing to redraw her forever and I’m happy with the results. Y’see, I meant for her to be short and kinda chubby, kinda like a cloud. But the first time I drew her she came out too tall and skinny because I don’t know wtf I’m doing apparently. This is the Original.

Name: Breeze, Bree for short

Gender: She/Her

Sexuality: Demisexual, Panromantic

Family: None

Occupation: Book Worm Librarian Assistant

Magic/Abilities: She can create little tornadoes, up to as tall as her. She can go bigger but those can become unstable so she prefers to keep them small. She can also use the air like a whip to cut things basically an Air Bender

Personality: Kind, Quiet, Soft spoken, Sweet, Passionate, Kinda shy but a fierce friend once you’ve gained her trust, basically a Hufflepuff

Clothes: She loves flannels. I didn’t draw it on this one but she still owns the coat that the original has on.

Misc: She falls asleep reading a lot. She practically lives in the Library. On the surface she lives above the Library. It’s a two story building and she rents the room upstairs. She’s clumsy. She can float around like a literal cloud at will.

I’ll be revamping her Swap and Fell versions next! That book she’s holding is an actual book by the way. Lirael by Garth Nix, the second book in the Abhorsen trilogy. Talking about her abilities makes me want to rewatch Avatar: The Last Airbender. I fuckn love that series so much. I have the entire series on DVD. 

Fun Facts: I chose Air because my Western Zodiac is an Air sign. Libra. I made her purple mainly because I love purple but it also dawned on me that purple is the color associated with the Fast Flying/Wind Fairies from the Tinkerbell movies. I love those movies. I love Fairies.

My Air/Wind Elemental OC: Red Swapfell/Fellswap version

Here she is finally! What took me so long was I had her clothes down but it felt like something was missing. Like she was too naked. I wanted to add something like a scarf or coat. Something similar but fairly different. I’m still not 100% on some of the colors I wound up using either. Specifically I wish I hadn’t drawn her sleeve and shoes black. I don’t know. It doesn’t look horrible at least. I was also considering doing her cloak black with a green inner lining. But I already felt like I was using too much black, so the cloak wound up being emerald green. 

Some of the colors are a little splotchy too because I only had those colors (her body and dress) in fine tip sharpies, so it was a bit of a bitch to color some spaces in and doesn’t look the smoothest.

Anyways.

Name: Typhoon, Ty for short (pronounced “tie” if that wasn’t already obvious, just felt like I should add that just in case)

Occupation: Underground: Mercenary/Bodyguard for hire Surface: Eventually opens her own Flower shop. She also sells tea blends in her shop. (big transition I know)

Magic/Abilities: Like Gust, she enjoys air whips. She can also form daggers. She enjoys dual wielding her whips and daggers whereas Gust only uses one whip.

Personality: Bold, A bit cocky, Draws too much attention sometimes, Doesn’t take anyone’s shit, Can be considered a Vigilante, Smart ass, Passionate, A bit of a hothead, yet still kind and gentle

Clothes: Favorite colors are different shades of  green, teal, turquoise, and black. Ruffly dresses or skirts, corsets, knee high heels or knee high boots with heels, her signature emerald green cloak(with a star shaped clip), bows and/or ribbons, Victorian era inspired clothes, no white ever, she considers her style edgy yet cute

Misc: She might’ve been a merciless assassin and relentless bodyguard underground but she would refuse service to those she didn’t feel deserved it. She would only provide protection for innocents and their families. She would only kill if she felt it was truly deserved. Like if her target had murdered an innocent or done some other sort of unspeakable act. She occasionally enjoyed torturing her targets depending on their crimes. Despite her dark past she’s still a kind, gentle person towards innocents or people she trusts.She loves gardening and often grows her own herbs for making tea.

Fun Facts?: Since she’s my Swapfell/Fellswap version I kinda played off my Underswap version’s design. Twister is very conservative and likes cutesy clotches. Typhoon likes cute clothes but isn’t so conservative.

My Air/Wind Elemental OC: Underswap version!

Here’s the redraw of my Swap Elemental! She’s a sweetheart. My first drawing of her isn’t bad but it didn’t go exactly as planned. I drew her in an apron because she enjoys baking but then I didn’t really know what to do with the bottom half. I couldn’t decide what kind of shoes to put on her or what color her skirt should be. This is the Original. I also hate how the shape of her head wound up in the old one. 

Name: Twister, Twist for short

Gender: She/Her

Height: 5′ 0″

Sexuality: Asexual, Panromantic, and isn’t actively seeking one but she’s open to Poly relationships

Family: None, but she considers close friends to be like family

Occupation: Underground: Waitress at Muffet’s, Surface: Eventually opens her own Bakery

Magic/Abilities: She can make small tornadoes like Bree and Gust but they’re sloppy and she often ends up making a mess. This is because she doesn’t practice with those enough as she doesn’t see much use for them. She does enjoy making small cloud-like orbs though. It’s a pretty entertaining, cute trick to toy around with. It’s great for cheering up or entertaining upset/bored children.

Personality: Sweet, Bubbly, Talkative, Kind, Passionate, Upbeat, Sassy if provoked, Enjoys some minor mischief at times

Clothes: Cute Winter clothes, big comfy sweaters, cute printed leggings, mid shin high boots, scarves, cream or light browns, cotton candy pinks, baby blues, pastels, white, loose flowy knee length skirts, and absolutely NO BLACK. She doesn’t like dark colors. 

Misc: She low key maybe has or used to have a crush on Stretch. She’s a bit clumsy, so when she messes up “It looks like a “twister” has been through here.” She’s the least clumsy when she’s at work because when she gets focused it seems to help. She does still have some minor mishaps but nothing too catastrophic. She still owns that apron from the original drawing of her. Her favorite part of baking is getting to decorate the cakes and cupcakes.

Fun Fact: That design on her sweater is what I was so frustrated with the other day. I was trying to do either a braided design or that and I was having the hardest time figuring out how to draw it properly. I never figured out how to do the braid properly.

Somehow every time I draw these girls I take up more and more space on the paper. I enjoy how fluffy and pretty they look but it’s a bit frustrating when I’m trying to do a full body because I want their shoes to be seen. That’s why I posted about being frustrated with proportions >w>;;

Her boots are supposed to look like the ones that are a bit wrinkled at the top. But I don’t feel like I drew the wrinkles very well. They don’t look terrible either though.

My Air/Wind Elemental OC: Underfell version!

This is very delayed but I finally got it finished. Her coat is supposed to be like a blood red but it looks hot pink in the picture and her shorts are supposed to be darker than that but I guess my lighting fucked it up. Also, fuck symmetry. amirite. Anyways, Here’s the redraw of the Underfell version. The first time I drew her I was happy with the body type but somehow this time I made her even better. This is the original. Mostly of the reason I wanted to redraw her was to do something with her clothing style. I felt like her style was too similar to the Undertale version and wanted to make her more unique. I also don’t really like how her hair and face came out on the original.

Occupation: Underground: Merchant, Surface: ?? I didn’t think this far ahead.

Magic/Abilities: She has the same abilities as her Undertale counterpart but favors using air whips because that seems to be the best way to get others to leave her alone without making a big mess or drawing attention by summoning a mini twister.

Personality: Stoic, Quiet, Sarcastic/Smart Ass, Assertive when necessary, Mean if provoked, probably shouldn’t test her patience, Smarter than you might think

Clothes: Punk rock style, Combat boots, fish net, ripped leggings, choker necklace with studs or spikes

Misc: When I said she was a merchant this is what I was talking about. She hung around Waterfall a lot and liked to go to the dump when the monsters were still underground. She collected things there. She actually has a few different pendants that she’ll swap out on her choker, like a rose. Other things she found there she would clean up and sell them. She enjoys treasure hunting and found it useful for making a living in Underfell. She has a soft spot for the temmies and for kids. She enjoys Napstablook and Shyren’s music. When they reach the surface she discovers the joys of Art. She especially loves pastels and painting.

The Underswap version will be next. When I have the time/motivation to draw her.

Fun Facts: I can’t think of anything else special, so have this. If she were sorted into Hogwarts she’d be a Ravenclaw with a bit of Hufflepuff sprinkled in. The kind of Hufflepuff that isn’t the “made of sunshine” stereotype though. And Breeze would be a Hufflepuff.

What's is something that would instantly raise alarm/worry for Lamia Cham, classic sans, and another character of your choice?

{{ I’m starting to think I should just rename Lamia Cham to Rosie or some other Rose related name because it would suit her better and make this a little less confusing…}}

Classic: The only answer you seem to be getting right now is snores.

Rosalyn: She pokes and nudges the other lamia but he won’t wake up, so she decides to try and answer for him. “Sssansss worry when Papyrusss hurt… I worry when human makesss big sssound with ssstick,” she answers the best she can. She’s still working on her English.

Cham: Classic usually only gets upset or shows hostility when his brother or someone else close to him is hurt in some way. Lamia Cham gets upset by hunters and poachers or generally violent humans. The big noise sticks she’s referring to are guns. She hates poachers the most.
