Why didn’t they do it like this? 1/?
So, I just saw a post where someone had drawn Dark Link and a Dark Mipha, and I had a thought
I think we can all agree, the bosses of BOTW were pretty bad overall. There was a couple of high points, like Thunderblight’s speed and electricity focus, or how unique Calamity Ganon was as a character.
But now I’ve seen that post, it got me thinking, why not have corrupted Champions as the Bosses. As in, the way the Guardians were corrupted by “drops” of malice in the Ganon is reborn cutscene that plays on the Great Plateau, the Champions could have been corrupted the same way, and the Malice could have created distorted versions of them. Like, Daruk could be more spiky, using his Stone Smasher to try and kill Link. Or Urbosa being a now-unparalleled close combat fighter. Mipha would be like a healer, but the reverse, throwing Malice-infused balls of death to Link. Revali could have been a twisted, lethal killing machine, as aerodynamic as he is lethal. And the souls of the Champions are still inside them, so defeating the corruption does what it did before, but now with extra weight, with the Champions basically seeing Link outmatch a hyped up version of themselves.
And for the final boss, maybe Ganon needed a host body connected to a source of Power, like someone with the blood of Hylia for example. So, the King. And then that would add to the struggle Zelda goes through for 100 years, trying to stop what looks like her father from destroying the world.
Then when the Beast phase happens, instead of such a simple fight, it could have been feeble imitations of the four Champions corruptions, or however many you killed during the game.
Idk, it seems like a good idea, and is a cool way it could have been done, an addition to an already incredible game. And all this from one post with a recoloured version of Mipha. Brain, you did a good today
A little sketch of the new lol champion Neeko! I think she looks adorable

Maldini : He (Baresi ) did stop Romario and all of Barcelona in the final of Champions 1994
On the day of the Champions League final that we won in Athens against Barcelona, Franco was not available, I remember that when we were inside the bus that was going to take us to the stadium he called me, Donadoni, Galli and Tassotti, he made us sit beside him and said:
"Guys, you are the pillars of this team. The press talks about us as if we are among the dead, but this is not true. Listen to me, they will play 4-4-2, so we must cause them a lot of problems in the back if we play on both sides and relied on Noon. "
Roberto (Donadoni) you are the one who can decide the fate of the match, how do you feel?
"Alright," replied Roberto.
"Well, for those annoying ones in the front (Romario and Stoichkov) remember they're doing a lot of movement, but try not to let the Brazilian touch the ball because he's the real danger.
They went forward a lot in most of the match because the Bulgarian (Stoichkov) was slow, and as soon as Romario received the ball, you Filippo (Galli) closed him, and you Paolo would try to make the team move forward, I replied:
"Captain, wouldn't it be better for Tasuti to do it?"
No, he would like him to help Ghali lock in to Romario. By doing this, he would see that the cup is ours. "
"I was amazed after his words because I used to follow him and now all the responsibilities are on me, the whole team had heard his words, Fabio Capello did too."
At the end of the conversation, the coach turned around and said with a smile:
"Guys, the captain has already said everything, now let's go and raise this cup."
"This was Franco Baresi, a true captain."
