so when I was a kid I found that hallucigenia worm in one of my aunt's fossil books and had nightmares about it for like YEARS and years and then one day in my astrobiology class we were talking about the cambrian explosion and I leaned over to my friend to tell her about this scary fossil and they put it on the huge lecture screen and I have no idea why but that child primordial fear made me jump and then I found out this nightmare was only 3cm long so BASICALLy the gif is terrifying
