Lisa is one of the faces behind infodesk - a design firm with a particular focus on content and how to make sense of it. She has worked on web design, datavis as well as exhibitions and educational projects.

I’m a big-time collector of information and I need a tool that will allow me keep all links in one place, neatly organized.

I’m now struggling with managing multiple tools for different content formats: I use Evernote to save articles useful for my research or for a blog post I might write in future, as well as quotes from books. That is where I also keep my own mini- database of designers, professional organizations and events. Pinterest, Visualize and Flickr works fine for images and graphics but that’s about it. Feedly is great for subscribing to blogs and reading articles later, but I still have to save selected content with my notes elsewhere.

I associate Channelkit with a toolkit with sub-sections for different items - in our case all links will find its place inside one great platform.

Lara has a scientific background which she has transferred to her work as an information architect. She strives for perfection, accuracy and faultless logic and keeps the whole Channelkit team organized.

When I start working with something, I dig deep into detail and won’t let go till I’ve had all the questions answered. When it comes to information – till I’ve collected every relevant piece I might find useful.

This applies to my hobbies as well. To give you an idea, I have a thing for minimalistic and handcrafted lamps. I take pictures of cool lamps everywhere via Instagram, extract lamp-related information from articles into Evernote, collect references from other industries that can be applied to lamp-making in Icebergs and save contacts of studios that teach craft skills

I see Channelkit as a one-stop shop for my lamp content or for any hobby really: I will be collecting links to articles and images, places and brands in a dedicated channel.
