“See I even have a space for you to sleep with me!” Chan gestured next to him. You giggle looking at your phone. Although it sucked being in a long distance relationship, you had to admit, it made your time with Chan that much sweeter.
“I’ll come soon,” you reassured him. He looked back at you, flashing you his beautiful smile.
“And you’ll sleep in my arms?”
“Noooo, I’ll sleep on the couch,” you answered sarcastically. He pouted, looking down. Then as if a light bulb struck, he looked up with determination. You raised an eyebrow.
“I shall be your couch then,” he stated firmly. The look on his face made you snort. God you loved him so much. You looked at the empty space in your bed, and wondered what it would feel like to sleep next to the love of your life, to be in his arms and never feel so alone as you did right now.
“Hey Chan?”
“Yeah?”
“I miss you,” you whispered. You didn’t like saying it but, you really did.
“I miss you too,” he replied gently, looking straight at you. You sighed. It’s a shame really.
Chan scrunched his nose, contemplating something before pulling his laptop from next to him. You rolled your eyes.
“Are you seriously going to work in front of me? I thought you had a break!”
“It’s not work I swear!” Chan retorted, pouting again. It took him around fifteen minutes before he was done. He stared at the white screen.Â

He closed the computer, looking back at you. He gave you a smile. You tilt your head.
“What’s so funny?”
“Oh nothing, it’s just that I’ll be going home soon,”
