This time of year was so busy for so many people. Celine didn't even fully celebrate Christmas and she still felt like she was busy. One thing she did do was buy small presents for friends. With her parents coming to visit her, Emre and Seyda this year she wanted to get her parents some gifts too. Her arms were stacked full of some books she was buying for herself with the mental promise of curling up under a blanket and some spiked coco and reading, when she also finally found the tiny section dedicated to foreign language prints. Celine thanked whatever force was looking out for her in the universe when she found one lone copy of a book of poetry in Turkish. This would be perfect for her dad. So caught up in her excitement, Celine didn't notice the bulge in the carpet and her arm full of books went tumbling all over the man next to her as she tripped. "Oh shit, I'm so sorry!"
