CAT TRAINING TIPS TIME! Happy FriYAY! Boop my Nose and Follow #PurrfessorMeana for more Instagram and Adventure Cat TIPS! Check my Bio Link to Subscribe to my MewTube too! 😻 First Goal: 100! 🙀 😻😻😻 How to get your cat to pose for pics? "Lots of patience and outtakes, mostly." 😹 Meana isn't very treat motivated, unless it's wet food. But, that's hard to just carry around on the go! Lots of pets and 'good girl' praises seem to work best for her. You need a Reward that you can repeat and works for your individual cat. My other cat, #ChaosTheRagdoll is more treat motivated, so I could get away with just having his favorite snacks ready. I cheat a little bit with Meana! I'll say 'do you want a treat' and sometimes she'll look up. I try not to over-use that, because she associates it with wet food and I have to give her some after, so she doesn't start thinking I'm full of crap. Hehe. Plus, it would be teasing and that's just mean! XD SIT and STAY - I re-enforce this every time I get home and take her harness off, when we've been out and about. She is more willing to listen when she knows it's time to take the harness off and be FREE! I started training Meana to STAY when I have her in the car and we're at home. I can leave the window or door open and she'll wait for me to come back. The more you do this, the more likely they are to fall back on their training when they escape outside or get out of their harness and you tell them to STAY! How do you get your cat to Sit or Stay? Did I miss any? 😸 Starter Tips: * Basically, scope out big accounts in your 'niche' and do what they do. * Post Reels (or any new features) * Be consistent. * Post stories. Share others' Posts in them. -You may also get them sharing you back! BIO - Brief (VERY) summary. 😸 Include your favorite (small) hashtags to encourage people to follow them (and you!), tag other people, and catch attention with fun slogans. Include keywords about your niche. EX: Black Cat, Melanistic Savannah Adventure Cat 😻 More details help too! Age of pet, Business Est. Date, etc. CAPTIONS - Always be writing something! Even a short one liner gets attention, compared to being blank and uninviting-looking! Ask QUESTIONS and give a little background to encourage comments. HASHTAGS - pick 30 that relate to your post! 🙀 You want long term followers. People following hashtags will click on your post, and maybe even follow you if your latest posts look promising. Same idea as YouTube keywords, etc. ! Small(10)/med(10)/big(10) is the general rule, but I'm still experimenting with them.
