I'm currently rereading sxf and I'm at Martha and Henry's backstory.

Something something Henry decided to become a teacher after seeing the corruption in eden, taking up a chalk and books to fight it and the war, only to be undermined and almost fired because of that same type corruption many years later. And then, his own students fight that corruption like he did but they fight it more head on, having it eradicated from the school while saving him too. That, and reminding him why he began teaching, his ideals when speaking to mini Donovan.

Remembering this, his smile in 127.2 means so so much more. The textbubbles being clear just makes his genuine gratitude hit harder to me.

Starting off... I hope this was just a one off line and not just a warning that the kids might be shunned by the older kids :( (I don't have any other way to word this so I hope this makes sense)

This is why I love Eden chapters so much. If anyone asks me I'll just show them this picture (no words needed)

Also this is one of the best jokes of the chapter, period.
