Here’s to the lady who spent countless nights awake to make sure her children stayed asleep while the man crashed in far from sober, the one who left her dreams hidden in a drawer for her children to find them and take them as their own. The lady who soaked pillow sheets with panic tears but never said a word. The lady who sacrificed 7 years of happiness. The lady who would wake up at 5 am to prepare each day’s meal because there was simply too much to do. The lady who drowned in work but still picked her kids up from school. The one who shredded pieces of her heart to provide enough love to anyone that mattered.
Here’s to the underestimated lady who got stepped on countless times and instead of giving up she stood tall through the circumstances. The lady that taught her kids to always be humble and grateful. To the lady who always walked around with integrity.
The lady who amazingly rose and finally got what she deserved. Happiness.
