Obsidian and Hazel’s parents Layla and Henry 😛

Henry slowly turned abusive to Layla and Hazel after becoming an alcoholic, but before that all he was a good guy for the most part, or when he’s not drinking heavily, which ended up being very rarely. After Layla died giving birth to Obsidian he became way worse due to the guilt he felt about it all, and when a drunken mess he abandoned Hazel and Obsidian wanting nothing to do with them, but years later he got his shit together and it’s one of his biggest regrets.
