Exploration of some background character.

Coming back to writing my story I am drawing a few of the characters that are seen in the background or during flashbacks. This one is the Director of the hospital where Dr Hugo works at, suspending him for a while after the bloody event.

Van's new refs. He got a slight redesign because people seem to read him as gigachad buff or stocky but he's more on the thin side while still retaining muscle definition. Plus none of his current refs really portrayed much about his character outside of random facial expressions.

His neck length was also inconsistent in all my drawings like I couldn't decide if he was a dragon or a horse. Which probably did not help. Ultimately will be drawing him with a long dragon neck from now on.

The top view makes him look malnourished dammit 💀. Might edit that later when I'm feeling less lazy.

The main theme is Pysanky — traditional Ukrainian Easter eggs decorated using a wax-resist method, a pen is used as a tool for drawing patterns call Pysachok here work like regular witches ink pen!

The colors and ornaments are also taken from traditional Easter egg designs. The clothing combines both traditionally feminine and masculine elements, as the request was to make the character androgynous ✨
