Oh, oh man. Lucas fell asleep in the snow...
Thank goodness he’s an ice dragon, he favours the cold over anything, unfortunately it means he’s prone to rolling around in and inevitably falling asleep in blizzards.

Oh, oh man. Lucas fell asleep in the snow...
Thank goodness he’s an ice dragon, he favours the cold over anything, unfortunately it means he’s prone to rolling around in and inevitably falling asleep in blizzards.
"You actually thought I cared about you?"
Shaking his head slowly, Lucas stared at Ava with wide, unbelieving eyes. “Don’t say that you didn’t,” he murmured, his voice quiet. Racking his hand through his hair, he took a step back and looked around the room- looked at anything but her. “Ava, you know how I felt. You know that I was willing to wait- willing to wait for something that might never happen,” he spoke quickly, yet his voice was barely above a whisper. “You can’t have let me think that you cared when you didn’t, how could you do that to me?” Lucas asked, his gaze now back on her and his eyes scanning her face, as if he was looking for answers. “Please don’t tell me this was some kind of joke for you, that I was something to pass the time with because we both know this is real and we both know that you care.”
