“The Smiler will now take control, the Smiler will stop for no one!” 

WOW okay this took a few days. This is in a way a kind of a redraw of something I did almost two years ago now, when I first really made my Alton ocs. Even now I still have the intro of the story being based off the 2013 fireworks, where The Smiler is a party crasher and blasts his weird taste in music to the world! This image was designed as a poster to sort of capture the craziness of the event, with Mr. S marmalising everyone but Rita and the Gatekeeper, who lucky escape since Rita has a fast car. Hope y’all enjoy this piece! I put a lot of work into it and hope to draw a lot more bigger stuff like this soon :3

This is part of a much bigger project I'm working on but I wanted to show of Gatekeeper’s new look! I feel this design makes him look more friendly and whimsical, and the steampunk edge really adds to his character! 

Gatekeeper is a core character in Alton Adventures. He is known as the Guardian of Memories. He collects positive memories from the guests at Alton Towers and keeps them in magical books in his hidden library. These positive memories are used by the guardians to give them more power and strength.
