the chwe family originated from jacksonville, florida. mr chwe was navy, stationed in jacksonville in a decently ranked position that made it so his family didn't have to move around all the time. mrs chwe was a librarian and a free spirit, until she wasn't. it was a particularly dark and rainy night and she was on the way home from the grocery store when she lost control of the car. the youngest of the family was but three years old when she passed, and it struck the family pretty hard. the eldest stepped up to look after the younger in the family. the chwes was a family of five kids and everyone stepped up and played their part to take care of things around the house, even the three year old. when the youngest was six, mr chwe introduced a new woman to the family ... mrs white (obviously that can be changed). the two had a whirlwind romance, it having been years since mr chwe had dated. things were going well, but there was the fact that mrs white had three children of her own. by fall of that year, the two familys attended a wedding celebrating the marriage o their parents ... and then they began their lives together. tensions were high between the blended family at first, but the siblings did eventually grow to love and appreciate one another. they looked out for one another, regarding their step-siblings as actual siblings even though they didn't share blood. obviously the first to take one of the step siblings can decide details on that portion of the family including age range, what they look like, if they kept their original last name or took on chwe. for the five chwe ages range from twenty-nine at the eldest to twenty - one at the youngest. you can age them however you choose, just keep in mind that bryson is the second youngest at twenty-four. bryson originally moved to orlando to attend college at the university of central florida, and lingered after graduation when he had a young-adult life crisis and ignored his degree to play video games professionally. it is up to you how the rest of the family ended up in orlando, but their parents live about an hour and a half north-ish in jacksonville! if you wish to take one of the biological chwe or one of the three step siblings please message me via my ask box or reach out to me on the site discord!
