Part 6 of 9! Masterpost link is here if you want to see the previous ones in the series.
There are only three Water Charged Attacks.
First is Pressure Jet. This is where you hold your weapon ready for a thrust, arms trembling, set against the delayed impact as the Charge builds within your weapon. And then, it releases as a jet of water sharp as any sword. Excellent due to its Armor Penetration and high Knockback. Can Soak opponents as well, leaving them susceptible to Water-based Synergies like electrifying wet targets or throwing seeds on wet targets to apply vine-y Overgrowth.
Second is Swelling Wave. This is an AoE sort of Charged Attack, executed as a right-to-left slam or an overhead smash. It repels and often flinches enemies, and has a high chance to Soak them as well.
Third is Rushing Wave. Rushing Wave is a Dash combined with a Charged Attack. It is generally executed with the blade held back at a downward angle, like with the "long tail guard" in fencing, but can also be executed with the blade held straight back at one's side, which segues into a thrust or sweeping slash.
High speed, knockback, and Soak potential.
The format for this one is pretty tight, but if you have feedback on how to improve this or the previous Charged Attack (CA) posts, or questions on how they work, please let me know!
Thank you!
