The Gates are not portals, though it would be fun if they were. They’re more a result of items passing from the pocket dimension known as the Treasury or the Golden Capital into the location Gilgamesh has called them, similar to the way water ripples when you drop a pebble into it. Therefore, it is impossible for Gilgamesh to step into a Gate and appear from another one somewhere else. This is a different technique entirely, named “Flash Air” in Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya.
♤ Has your muse developed to be different from their canon selves through roleplay?
My Gilgamesh is, without a doubt, a lot more tolerant than his canon self. Interactions with people such as containyourmainposure who understand him, even if they don’t agree with him, and don’t launch into him with unwarranted aggression or hate have softened him up a little bit. However, he still has his pride. The only acceptable names he will respond to is “Gilgamesh” or “Archer”, “Gil” if he is in child form. He has already been softened in other people’s favor; do not expect a doting caretaker from him. He is a King above all else, and you do not ask the sovereign ruler of a nation to take care of your kids, whether he’s retired or not XD.
