Charlie Dealey, a farmer from North Mooroopna in Victoria, gave a new meaning to the term ‘thunder box’ in September 1932.
Charlie was in the backyard dunny of the Court House Hotel in Shepparton when he was killed instantly by an explosion, which was heard throughout the neighbourhood.
