(My) Fave Charlie (Non-Print) Interviews (weighted towards anything that actually has him discussing acting):
1) Of course, his only discussion of Stranger Things/Jonathan w/ the incredible accent change midway through. I hope filming for another project/promo for Marrowbone won’t interfere with his ST promo for season 2!
2) This great radio interview is prob the only one on this list people perhaps haven’t heard? It’s from Shut In promo time, and he’s very relaxed in it, and he talks more about what it was like right before he got his first break. Also his voice is 🔥 here. 10/10 would recommend.
3) At least if we only have one 1-on-1 interview with him on camera, it’s him sitting cross-legged and constantly fidgeting. “Do you want to start a Band?” What an sweet, un-hollywood creature; please protect him.
4) The As You Are press conference at San Sebastian. His parts are interesting and I love hearing the director speak about the film.
5) The Teen Vogue Facebook interview for As You Are. I just love the whole cast. And how he’s in constant drummer-ly motion and wanting the other cast members to answer instead.
6) Shorter Interviews: This v. short interview at San Sebastian on As You Are is pretty adorable. As is how clearly shy/genuine he is on the red carpet in this one at the BAFTA LA party. And then there’s this one--soooo what were you going to do with the SAG statue, charley?
