Injury Update

An injury update for the Shots. News on the progress that of the on loan Charlie Strutton and also Chris Barker.

On loan striker Charlie Strutton, who made his debut for the Shots during Saturday's 5-1 thumping over Southport has returned to parent club, AFC Wimbledon to begin his period of rehabilitation after being diagnosed with a fractured fibula.

Meanwhile, the second stretcher was required during Saturday's encounter against Southport with Chris Barker staying on the deck and after a lengthy few minutes of treatment, and is out of training for a precautionary measure of around seven days after suffering concussion following a head collision on Saturday afternoon, also missing tomorrow's Skrill Premier home fixture against Braintree Town, visitors to the Electrical Services Stadium, kick-off 7:45pm.

Gavin Denison of BBC Surrey, has reported that Jake Goodman (hamstring), Joe Oastler (ankle), Glenn Morris (thigh) and Mark Molesley (hamstring) will be ruled out of contention for tomorrow's home tie.

Strutton Drafted In On Emergency Loan

Aldershot Town have drafted in AFC Wimbledon striker, Charlie Strutton ahead of tomorrow's home encounter against visitors Southport.

Coming through the youth set up at Buckinghamshire based Chalfront St Peter, spending a number of years there before Charlie completed a move to The Wombles in March 2012, penning a short term deal, finding the net 67 times in his 96 appearances for the club after enjoying loans with Maidenhead United and most recently, Braintree Town, a month back. This summer, he dotted a new two year deal with parent club, AFC Wimbledon and will be certainly looking to get off the mark during his months emergency loan with the Shots.

He has been given shirt number 16 ahead of tomorrow's game at the Electrical Services Stadium, kick off is 3pm.
