Seron: Their "book" which changes depending on the universe, but is nearly always signed with the people they love mosts names and filled to the brim with notes and drawings, even if its not a notebook. They take it with them everywhere, and it's incredibly precious to them because it was either given to them by their sister or biological father. She also loves to run, even though they have a limited lung function lol. He is also deeply comforted by nature and thunderstorms, often spending whole nights and days outside, regardless of the time of year, finding peace in nature. (Also they are comforted by the idea of anyone loving them which can be really sweet or really fucked up depending who it is)
Qenan: He's a big fan of physical affection but I'd also say pigeons and doves. That's kind of his special interest and I'd say he absolutely finds comfort in the way birds resemble the best parts of humanity. Also his love language is physical touch so he loves being held.
Beatrice: Her bible, definitely. She highlights and underlines key phrases to reread to comfort herself in times of need. She is very religious (ironic, because her partner doesn't really have the same perspective at all).
Becky: I'd say...alone time? Where she has space to self regulate and be not overstimulated, and can just kind of relax and take the weight off her shoulders. Also, Sunita. Her sweetness and love for Becky give her a sense of relaxation because it comes with no strings attached and will never leave.
Morgan: I'd also say alone time, but also time with her partners definitely comforts her. I'd say it depends on the situation, but Monty is probably the most comforting of her partners to be around, since everyone else has...crippling issues. He provides a stability that she doesn't have through her powers (erratic future sight) and her family (bitches), so he gives her a sense of comfort. He's just so...comfortable.
Charlie-Jack: Spending time making things, and specifically making things with Seron, usually those melty crayon things? They really just...they comfort each other a lot. It keeps him grounded in the present, and he gets to be with someone who intimately understands him without having to explain it. Of course his other partners are a comfort, but there's just...a special bond between them because of what he and Seron have emotionally and mentally gone through.
Harper: The truth, probably. You wouldn't think of it as comforting, but it is to Harper. Harper thrives on honesty and truthfulness and can't stand liars or lying. When she knows the whole truth of things, she is a much happier person.
Sienna: Knowing she and her sister will be safe together for a while, and just like...chilling with her girlfriend. She's got simple wants, really. Nothing too grand.
Summer: Fire, because it looks pretty and is fun to make. Also her big sister, because she will love and care about her regardless of her borderline criminal tendencies to arson.
Gabriella: Being around her girlfriend (Sienna) and knowing she has helped someone heal/get better. It disturbs her a lot when she's unable to help someone, so helping someone heal takes a weight off of her shoulders.
Carmen: Taking Monty's money because he lost another bet to them. Why does it comfort them? Because they got money, got to annoy Monty, and got to make Seron laugh hysterically. And because they have security in the fact that at least they'll never lose this. She'll always be validated and loved by these people, no matter how many times she wins.
Monty: Just...being around people who support and love him. He doesn't really need much in terms of comfort because he is honest to god one of the most stable people in this, but it never hurts to feel loved and supported by the people around him. Also, he feels a great deal of comfort from compliments, he loves genuine compliments, they make him feel onto of the world.
Sunita: Her fashion. It's her self expression, it's her everything. She makes beautiful pieces to express herself and finds comfort in the beauty of being herself to the fullest. She's also one of the most stable people in this.
Ailia: Birds. She has a fucking special interest in birds, and it makes her so fucking happy to be studying them or be around them, and the thing that would comfort her most is the idea of being able to fly (or even being able to turn into a bird), which happens, depending on the universe.
Cole: Being with his big sister. He loves to run wild and play but at the end of the day, he just really likes being around Ailia because she's the closest thing he has to their mother, who passed away when they were young (usually).
