One True Pairing (OTP)

Beginning the 1st entry on my tumblr talking about my recently discovered OTP isn't ideal. But then again, what is tumblr if not a place to ship things?

Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron. C-Theron and K-Stew. TheStew. CharSten. Whatever the hell they're called, I ship it. I ship it like the captain of the Titanic.

KStew is 22, Theron is 37.

Charlize Theron divorced her husband of 9 years (Stuart Townsend) in 2010. She adopted a child (Jackson) earlier this year in March. She's a talented Oscar-winning actress with tremendous energy and great beauty.

Kristen Stewart is with (or married to? I don't know) Robert Pattinson, her co-star from the Twilight series. She is known for her awkward interview skills, but she is an extremely devoted actress with talent and a gorgeous face.

On the surface, just by these facts alone, they seem like they would be occupied with so much responsibility and commitment (and they probably are). But man, every time I see them interact during an interview, I can't help but feel my gay-senses tingling.

Well, at least in the case of KStew, no matter how many guys she fucks, she will (in my eyes) always be gay. I have this theory. It's so crazy that it just might work. Her unconscious and subconscious minds are aware of her desires towards women, but something in her conscious mind seems to be putting a giant block on it. It might be derived from some experience/memory from childhood that has traumatized or influenced her in some way to ignore/inhibit her true desires.

The whole thing between KStew and Nikki Reed was speculated for quite a while until Reed got married and KStew hooked up with Rob. I keep imagining KStew and Reed coming very close to being in a romantic relationship, and at the last minute, KStew freaks out or her brain goes on 'defense mechanism' mode and displaces her romantic feelings towards Nikki to Rob. Not to undermine their relationship. Rob and KStew seem to have a total amicable relationship, and it seems to be constructive to both of their lives. But it seems KStew is with him because his presence promises her social acceptance, which soothes her insecurities as an individual. But in terms of passion, KStew's eyes light up more in presence of other female co-stars. So yes, bottom line, my theory is that every time KStew has an opportunity for a gay relationship, she jumps ship into a more secure heterosexual one.

And that's why I think she had an affair with the director of the Snow White movie. Charlize Theron is a busy woman with a child, but she is single and ready to mingle. Whether it's a joke or for real, Charlize and Kristen flirt with/bitch at each other a lot, and I think the fact Theron is single and is looking for a potential lover has an effect on her actions. Theron seems to be taken with KStew, and she sees a lot of her younger self in KStew (or sees a lot of KStew in herself). She identifies with her well, and the sense of comfort allows her to feel intimate with her. Plus, KStew's boyish charm (I hate this term but I can't think of another one) and unpredictable energy attracts Theron to her. These factors build up to make Theron become infatuated with KStew, and I think if KStew said "Wanna fuck?" Theron would have said "Yes." And in knowing this on some subconscious level, and also admiring/being attracted to Theron, KStew freaked out at this lesbian opportunity and displaced her feelings onto the director, who also happens to be the husband of Theron's very good friend, Liberty. Many rumour-spreading websites are reporting that Theron is furious at KStew for having an affair with him (because KStew hurt Liberty's marriage, that'd be the assumption) and I can't help but wonder if there's more to this story. Theron apparently wanted KStew to be her son's godmother so it's apparent there was tremendous trust between the two. And it is reported that Theron now feels betrayed by KStew. But I keep thinking Theron isn't just furious about her friend being hurt; maybe she was hoping for some romance that was implicitly promised. 

That puts in question KStew's relationship with Dakota Fanning. Fanning doesn't react to KStew the way Reed and Theron do. I'm guessing Fanning really didn't see her as a possible romantic candidate. It's clearly visible that Fanning doesn't flirt with KStew and some distance and awkwardness lingers between them. When there's no possibility of gay romance, KStew doesn't need to displace her feelings anywhere since, well, it ain't going anywhere.

All in all, I just want to see KStew being happy with a girl. I do believe that's where she belongs. And hopefully, Rob Pattinson will meet some other wonderful person to start a steady relationship with. Soon.
