biography
Chase didn’t originally start out in Huntsville but he was always a trouble maker and had a short temper. His parents had taken him there as a last resort after being expelled from so many school districts they thought a smaller, seemingly more calm environment might help. It didn’t really help, Chase would still get into fights, cause trouble, be his usual self of acting out no matter who tried to warn or help him and it got to the point his own parents didn’t want to be around him anymore so when he was sixteen his parents had snuck out while he was asleep and left him in Huntsville alone.
Of course that hurt Chase so he blamed himself and his behavior even though that was a decision his parents had made themselves. He knew with it being such a small town he’d get shipped off to the next town that had a foster system and he refused to let that happen so instead made it seem like his parents were still around and whenever asked about them he’d lie and say they were out on a trip and they’d ‘be back soon’. It was enough to keep him in town at least and got a job quickly after and dropped out of school so he could afford living at his house and keeping up the lie.
When he turned eighteen it didn’t matter anymore, he still never told anyone about his parents leaving but continued on with his life and whenever asked about what happened to them, he’d meet it with a short, usually angry answer. Chase never cared about making friends nor keeping them around if he did and when the storm hit in 2012 he made his way to the Parsons house and decided he would stay there even if he was used to living alone.
As time went on he started to gain the trust of Sunflower, mostly because when people would act out or try and disrespect her rules he would get on them about respect and typically threaten to throw them out during the night as a monster snack even if Sunflower didn’t really like that response but hey, it worked and he eventually became second to Sunflower to help her run the house.
Only people at the commune know him by CC and are the only people who are allowed to call him that. Chase also keeps up his usual ways of making sure people are respecting the house and rules, not getting in as many fights as he used to but still not afraid to if someone tries to overstep and although his temper has been more in check it will still slip out every once in a while and is very protective of anyone who lives at the Parsons house no matter who they are.
RECENT/UPDATED
Ever since getting fired as the second in command he stayed at the commune for a while and didn’t know what to do. He finally started leaving once in a while and took a job as a manager at the post office when he realized that was a thing. Chase hates it but it pays for his drinks at the bar so he can’t complain too much. (even though he very much does) (and he’s still a dick).
