ok I know the fandom kinda tends to ignore Wheatley’s villain arc in favor of when he was nicer, but honestly? I kinda wish Wheatley was more evil

He just came off like he was trying too hard to be a villain, which was intentional, but can you imagine how terrifying it would be for him to just completely lose it? Even in the final boss fight when he’s yelling, he doesn’t come off all that scary

Like, GLaDOS managed to be terrifying and funny at the same time, and I know the point is that Wheatley is supposed to be incompetent, but the part of me that loves flashy villains really likes the idea of just... irredeemably evil Wheatley

The concept for him in Portal 2 was that he was just covered in turrets and like just this complete monster made out of a bunch of Aperture devices... like that’s perfect. Just like the contrast of friendly little Wheatley with this (even more) terrifying evil AI would’ve been amazing
