maze troubles II Barty
Delilah was horribly lost. She could hear the screams from outside the maze, and the air was growing thicker and thicker with fog. She hadn’t even wanted to come into the maze, but Laura had convinced her that it would be fun, that they would stay together. But then things started to get weird, and suddenly there was a loud noise and Delilah was somewhere else. The corn was so high that she couldn’t see which way was out, which way she should turn, and she was starting to grow more nervous by the minute.
She started to walk again, hoping that she was going in the right direction, trying to avoid being seen by the skeletons that were haunting the maze. She heard a noise, and she froze again. It sounded like footsteps, like someone was coming closer. She held onto her wand tightly in her hand, having a bad feeling in her chest.
“Wh-Who’s there?”
She heard a cough behind her, and she whipped around, light shining in the other person’s face. It took her a moment, but then she placed him; Barty Crouch Junior. She felt both a mix of relief and confusion. “Barty?”
