Bad Moon Rising
The full moon is on it’s way and Erika, for the first time, is a little nervous about it. For her it’s as natural as breathing now, but the same can’t be said for Julius and she’s worried. Her mind is so distracted with it as she unloads her groceries that she doesn’t notice anything besides what’s in her hands as she pushes it into the cupboards or fridge.
My Shine
While Juliette is more than a little happy with herself, she doesn’t go out to celebrate first. Instead she goes home to find Julius just to give him a heads up about the reporter. Maybe it’s nothing, but it could be something and she’d rather be safe than sorry. Knocking tentatively on his door she calls out, “Julius? It’s Juliette, I just need to talk to you for a second if you don’t mind.” It would be just her luck if he wasn’t home and she was just talking to an empty room.
The Moon Song
Erika’s body wars between numb and panicked as she walks up to his room. Alex has left, Olivia is pouring through books and writing things down, her parents have been discussing with Olivia and Alex in hushed tones. And Erika knows this is her only chance to say goodbye. Not that she has any idea how she’s supposed to do that. Pushing the door open, she stays near the entrance after closing it behind her. “This is why you shouldn’t open the front door to strangers,” she says instead of hello or goodbye. Crossing her arms tightly across her chest like she’s holding herself together, she takes a few steps in closer. “I can leave if you want.” Though she makes the offer, she’s not entirely sure she’d leave if he asked her to.
Two Wrongs, No Rights
Erika was trying to deal with a breakup. One she deserved, but it still hurt. Hurt enough to distract her from everything going on around her. With her headphones on and her eyes on her phone playing an aggressive round of candy crush, she never saw it coming. The blow to the head was powerful enough to knock her sideway, and a needle pricked her skin, making everything seem foggy. But she still felt the pain of it. Whatever the hell was happening. She fought but felt like she was under water. Fists moving sloppily, teeth biting into flesh but it burned her tongue. What little damage she managed did nothing to stop them, did nothing slow their attack or even keep her upright.
tribulation
Erika is bogged down with books, taking up about three tables outside of her aunts bakery, and happily chomping a sweet while taking a few notes. Biting off the cap of her highlighter she tries to pop it out of her mouth and onto the table but it ends up bouncing hard and into the face of someone passing by. “Shit, sorr-” The lady waits for Erika to finish her apologies but the wolf catches a familiar scent followed by a familiar sight and ends up falling silent. Instead of waiting the woman moves on with a disgruntled sigh. “What the fuck are you doing in London?” She demands, holding back from adding that he was never supposed to come back.
Dust
Covered in pain, Juliette sits in front of a half painted canvas. The door to her studio is open in theory so she can listen for her family getting home, but the music and her own thoughts distract her from hearing anything outside of her own little bubble. Reaching distractedly for a different brush, she managed to knock over a cup filled with a colour of her own creating. “Oh, damn.” She growls, nearly falling off of her stool in an attempt to save it. That’s when she realizes she’s not alone and must look ridiculous. “Oh...hey...”
Conductor
Erika doesn’t really know how to be an alpha. In all honestly she’d tried to push that part of her down in one way or another. She told herself she’d never turn anyone, she wouldn’t have a pack of her own, she’d just live her life. But now that has given someone the bite...successfully...she feels differently and is lost on how to move forward. For tonight though, she’s decided to try and take it easy. Sitting in her flat, making tea and heating up some leftovers, it calms her enough to let some rational thought in.
