Grace couldn’t find Five... again.
To her credit, she’s been programmed with infinite patience, so this revelation is neither surprising nor particularly troublesome to Grace herself. But Mom knows that if Sir Reginald calls the children to training and Five isn’t present among them, there will be... questions.
Stepping from the doorway of her son’s room, she tracks her gaze down the corridor, looking for signs of his passing (Scanning >> residual spatial and temporal disruption), but finding nothing. Mom calls, “...Five? Did you complete your history assignment?”
