Sam was leaning against the counter at work, flipping through the latest copy of Decibel magazine. She never understood the whole “if you can lean you can clean” policy so many places of employment had. Though she never had really worked other jobs growing up until she opened her music shop. When she heard the bells jingle, signaling her someone walked into the store, she stood up. “Welcome! Anything I can-- Oh, it’s just you.” Her posture softened again and the cheery look she had was replaced with one of annoyance. “And to what do I owe the pleasure of having you grace my presence, Paulina?”
