It was odd the way change seemed to happen slowly and then all at once. Jesus had been keeping track of the disappearances in town as well as he could, and working through housing made it easier to tell when people had vanished. He didn't have the time or resources to look into all of those on his own, not even with Dean and Castiel's help, but they made an effort if someone turned up concerned about their missing friends.
He'd made repeated requests of Armes and the Town Hall for more investigations into those without a lot of progress, so he was surprised that the disappearance of a third mayor was the trigger for more action. He'd gladly volunteered to take a role in organizing meetings at the community center. It was still mostly in the talking stages, but he felt they'd made some real progress at tonight's meeting for getting volunteers for more regular search parties. At the very least, people were sharing information, and that was a start. He was folding up chairs as people trickled out of the room afterward, a couple of them lingering to talk.
