hii omg this might be weird but that scenario between ross and reader couldn’t leave my mind so i tried to kind of put it into words (it’s short and pretty bad but i thought i might just share):

it was a warm day for october. the leaves were starting to turn various shades of yellow, orange and that deep red colour she kept looking for in sweaters (she hasn’t quite found it yet). but what mattered most was the two people sprawled out on a picnic blanket in between the guarding trees of the private park attached to the venue that the boys would be playing at that night. they joked around, teasing each other, laughing and talking about everything they could think of.

they knew they liked each other; it was undeniable at that point yet none of them had dared to make a move just yet, though they both knew that they’d love nothing more than to give into their feelings. she looked at ross, first finding his deep brown eyes that had specks of green around the centre that she loved, then looking around the details adorning his face. the crows feet by his eyes, a constant reminder of his beautiful smile. that birthmark he had on his forehead, the freckles that were sprinkled around his nose and cheeks. a reminiscent tan from that time they went to hawaii for a week (that time they almost kissed), that small hole in his beard that he’s had since she could remember, caused by a very early teenage attempt at shaving his then nonexistent beard that resulted in a scar that he is now able to cover up with an actual beard. “i wonder if your beard tickles.” those words slipped out of her mind, she didn’t even fully register them until they had already been spoken, and she could see a smile grace his lips. ross turned his head to meet her gaze, his warm eyes locking onto hers. there was a playful glint in his expression as he quirked an eyebrow in response to her unexpected comment. "i don't know. want to find out?" he teased, his voice laced with a hint of mischief, followed by an underlying sense of hope. she couldn't help but laugh, the sound like music to ross's ears. her laughter was infectious, and he found himself drawn to her, his heart fluttering with every shared moment.

"maybe i do," she replied, her voice soft and filled with warmth. she shifted slightly, turning on her side to face him more directly, her fingers gently tracing the contours of his beard. the touch of her fingers sent shivers down ross's spine, and he had to suppress a smile as he leaned in a little closer. "i've always wondered if your smile is as amazing as it looks," he confessed, his gaze fixed on her lips. her heart raced as she felt the proximity of their faces. she looked into ross’s eyes and then, with a slow, deliberate movement, she pressed her lips against his, a gentle and tender kiss. it was a test, a connection to see if the chemistry that had been building between them was real. he reciprocated, his lips meeting hers with a sigh of relief and a surge of emotions he couldn't contain.
