Cute Little Hole in the Wall || Clexaven
Raven couldn't be more excited to introduce Clarke to Lexa. Clarke is smart, talented, and the best friend she could as for. But, she was totally in a rut. And when Clarke is in a rut, Raven's in a rut. So she forced Clarke to dress up hot and dragged her to their favorite nearby bar. Music bumped just loud enough that they could dance, but they also didn't have to scream at each other to be heard. Plus the bartenders made the drinks strong and kept the prices low. She slid into their usual booth and pat the spot beside her for Clarke to sit before slinging an arm around her shoulders. "Two beers for my sexually frustrated friend and I. Please and thanks, Maggie." She watched the woman walk off before turning to Clarke again. "You're going to really like this chick. I just know."
Clarke had been prepared for a night in staring at Lexa's card as she tried to come up with a response for when the brunette answered her phone. 'Hello' just felt too bland, too unoriginal. Raven had other plans for her though much to her dismay. She was all dolled up and thrust out the door, and eventually into their usual bar where they took their usual booth. The blonde could only scowl as her cheeks heated at the tanned woman's description of her. Not that she was wrong, but there was no need to broadcast the fact. "I already have my eyes on someone, Ray. She even gave me her number. Why are you trying to shove me on someone else?"
Lexa checked her hair in the mirror once more. It was probably as good as it was going to get. And, admittedly, it was better than most days since she hadn't been sweating for hours into it. It was brushed out as much as it could be and held back from her face with an intricate series of small braids. When she was younger, she had hated ponytails, her hair was so heavy they gave her headaches, so her mother had always braided her hair. When she was old enough, she had learned how to do them herself. Running her finger beneath her eyelashes one more time to make sure she didn't have raccoon eyes, she slid some colorless lip balm over her lips and tucked it into her pocket. She locked her car and walked up through the door. There was no one manning it, so she assumed there was no cover charge. Before looking around for Raven, she approached the bar and ordered a beer, taking a swig from it as she looked around the small bar.
Raven rolled her eyes. "I'm giving you options, alright? We all know it's going to take you a year to actually call the damn girl. Might as well have some fun while you work up the courage." Raven's eyes flickered up to the bar after the waitress dropped off their beers, and saw Lexa standing at the bar. "There she is! Yo! Lexa!"
Clarke didn't want options, she wanted Lexa and her tattoos and perfectly sculpted muscles. "I was going to call her tonight!" Clarke insisted though they both knew that was a blatant lie. At Raven's discovery she was about to turn to at least smile in the woman's direction, the name that spilled out of the Latina's mouth had Clarke's blood turn to ice though. Lexa was a common enough name..right? Slowly blue eyes drifted over to the direction Raven was calling to. She'd recognize that hair anywhere even if it was a lot tidier than usual. Hell she'd recognize that ass, the thing was burned into her head as if it was the only source of life
Lexa heard her name and whipped her head around in the direction from which it came. She lifted her hand to wave at Raven, but it stopped halfway up, looking as if it didn't really know what it was supposed to be doing. The blonde beside Raven was intimately familiar to her, and her stomach flipped over at the sight of Clarke. As if she wasn't attractive enough on a normal basis, she was wearing a leather jacket and her hair was falling in soft waves over her shoulder. Lexa took another drink of her beer to help her swallow and raised her hand the rest of the way, approaching the booth Raven and Clarke were sitting in. "Hey, Raven, you didn't tell me Clarke was your roommate."
Raven looked between the two in confusion before raising an eyebrow. "Because I didn't know you knew her?"
Clarke cleared her throat, bottom lip caught in her teeth for a moment before releasing the soft flesh. "Hi Lexa..." she welcomed the woman, she was so confused, but admittedly happy that she wouldn't be a disappointment to some mystery woman. Glancing over at Raven she extended her hand slightly in Lexa's direction. "Raven..meet sugar milk.." she let fall from her lips in explanation
Lexa nodded once at Raven. "That makes sense," she replied, not sure what to do next. "Hello, Clarke," she answered, a confused arch of her eyebrow appearing at the odd nickname she had no awareness of. She slid into the booth across from Clarke and Raven, her fingernail gently picking at the label on her bottle.
Raven put all the pieces of the puzzle together and cracked up. "Wait a second. You're the girl from the coffee shop? This is just too much. Am I a good judge of character or what?" She sipped her beer and gave herself a pat on the back.
Clarke blushed, eyes darting down as her face turned to the table only to glance up at Lexa through dark lashes. "Very good judge." the blonde admitted as she watched the brunette's finger. "I'm sorry I didn't call..I had a really big project I was working on.."
Lexa arched her eyebrow. "You are a terrible liar, Clarke," she said, but her voice was light and the corner of her lips curled up just slightly. "I was not aware that she spoke of me outside work," she said, turning to Raven. "Has she regaled you with stories of how sweaty and unkempt I am when I get my afternoon coffee?"
Raven watched the interactions, already liking Lexa more just on the fact that she was willing to call Clarke out on her shit. She was a huge fan of people that were direct. Maybe because she herself loved to beat around the bush. "Sweaty, unkempt, the hottest girl she's ever seen. The usual."
Clarke if she had ever thought of dying, it was nothing compared to this. Taking a long swig of her beer she tried not to stutter or let her voice crack as she answered the brunette. "I just..didn't know what to say.." this wasn't the coffee shop and as her blush deepened it was clear that her usual bravado and smooth exterior had all but melted away. Why could n't Raven just shut her mouth for once and not completely embarrass her in front of the older woman she'd been swooning after.
Lexa chuckled softly, giving Clarke a smile. "Why do you think I gave you my number instead of asking for yours? It is much more difficult to make that first call and not feel strange," she revealed. "What must you think of me now if you think I'm hot after a full day of work. I'm so sorry to disappoint you," she gently teased.
Raven sat back and let them have their moment, even though the urge to embarrass Clarke further was almost irresistible.
Clarke "Hush you." she finally bantered back feeling less awkward as Lexa seemed to just calm the atmosphere (Raven being distracted helped too) "I think you look fine either way. Though I am missing the body art..it's admittedly a personal favorite of mine." And cue the damn word vomit. Why couldn't she just be a normal person
Lexa grinned as Raven seemed to find someone else who struck her fancy more than her and Clarke's fledgling flirtation. "I would think that, at least, my hair is more appealing. I know it can get quite wild, especially on my Interesting Class days." She grinned at Clarke's mention of her tattoos. "I didn't know you'd noticed," she said honestly.
Clarke "I don't mind wild. It's cute. I am enjoying the mane in it's full glory though." She smiled and took another drink. "The way you like to stretch..I just assumed you were trying to display at least the one on your arm. I bet you're missing the uniform on me, huh? It's my 'sexy' outfit." she ended with a joking manner
Lexa blushed slightly, thankful for the lowered lighting. "Oh trust me, it becomes even more glorious first thing in the morning or after spending the day on the beach," she joked back. When she was young, she had been teased a lot for her hair, but she'd grown to love it and embrace all its craziness. "Oh god," she said, taking a drink of her beer to try to cool the heat in her cheeks. She was so busted. "In my defense, I am coming in after a day full of demonstrating how to do the moves required in my different classes. Isn't it possible that I'm just sore?" she asked, not willing to admit so readily that she did, indeed, flex a bit around Clarke. "I don't know, that v-neck does wonders for you," she said bravely, licking her lips just a bit.
Clarke smiled lightly, eyes locked on those intense green ones that lay across from her "I'd love to see it sometime. I bet it's a gorgeous sight to see." And there it was, her smooth was finally back. "Mine kind of likes to never tell me what it wants, luckily today it chose wavy." she gestured flippantly. Nodding at Lexa's explanation to muse the woman she soon clicked her tongue. "Oh don't give me that. We both know what you're doing..and maybe the uniform doesn't exactly call for a v-neck. But I get better tips..so."
Lexa held her breath for just a moment to make sure she didn't actually moan at the thought of Clarke seeing her first thing in the morning, her hair wild and tangled across the pillow, lit only by the ever stubborn sliver of light that streamed in no matter how perfectly she positioned her drapes. "I love your hair. It always looks so soft and pretty," she said confidently. Clarke had to know that she was gorgeous. When Clarke called her out, though, she chuckled. "All right, I might flex a LITTLE more than is strictly necessary, but it's only because I know you're looking. And believe me, I'm well aware of the effect your v-neck has on my pocketbook," she teased.
"So you're the one leaving me those hefty tips?" Clarke joked while looking as if she was surprised by the information. "I maybe lean forward a little more just because I felt like you were looking." the blonde admitted whilst brushing one of her flyaways behind her ear, god she hated when it got in her face. "Maybe I'll indulge you and let you feel sometime." the sentence was coy and she had to restrain the need to pat herself on the back for having said it
Lexa grinned. "Trust me, the tips are for excellent service. I like to reward excellence." She quickly took a long swig from her beer, draining the bottle. "Is that so? Perhaps I could return the favor and let you get a closer look at some of my art," she said, flexing her right bicep a bit so that her short sleeved shirt rode up slightly, revealing the jet black lines beneath.
"I always thought it was a thank you for enduring my internal war you make me go through everyday creating that blasphemous concoction. I may or may not have thrown a tub of coffee ice cream down a grocery aisle once." At the mention of the ice cream Clarke visual shuddered, now that she wasn't at work being able to fully speak her mind on Lexa's order which might as well have been the melted and heated version of the frozen treat. At the peek of the ornate tattoo that adorned the brunette's arm she had to drain her own beer suddenly feeling hot. "I'm actually an art major..not sure if that information has ever been supplied. So I'd love to study your art fully. The curvature is pretty unique. It isn't tribal though. I can tell that much. None of it is..though that other piece..well I'd have to get a better look you know."
Lexa grasped her heart as if she'd been shot. "You wound me! I love coffee ice cream, especially when it's got toffee pieces in it," she admitted. "Are you? No, that never came up, but I knew there had to be more to you than simply being the sexiest barista this side of the Rocky Mountains," she said with a grin. Reaching her left hand over, she slid her sleeve up and leaned forward a bit so Clarke could get a closer look. "You're right, not tribal, unless you consider Norse designs tribal, which I suppose they technically would be."
"You would." Clarke replied simply with a scrunch of her nose. "Coffee is supposed to be robust, not tampered with." Clarke ended matter of factly before suddenly forgetting how words worked all together and what exactly they had been talking about when the brunette pulled out that fucking arm tattoo, the one that may or may not make her salivate a bit more than usual. Swallowing she built up courage enough to lean forward herself, rough finger pads slowly starting to trail slowly along one of the intricate curves. "Norse..right. I thought they might be." And now her finger was trailing lower, brushing along a beautifully defined muscle. "You really weren't lying about owning a gym.." she trailed off. Fuck she needed another beer, or you know a cold shower.
Lexa chuckled, impressed at Clarke's passion for coffee. Her nostrils flared and she licked her lips as Clarke's fingertips followed the sensitive skin on her arm. She had to swallow as Clarke moved her fingers lower, and she instinctively made a fist, flexing her forearm. "I was not," she confirmed. "Is that the type of thing one might lie about? Did you think I was simply trying to impress you? Did it impress you?" she asked with a bit of a smirk.
Clarke noticed how Lexa had flexed in response to her touching, but she made no attempt at calling her out. Why would she? The already toned muscles becoming even more so. Hard beneath her fingers. The blonde had admittedly never been fully into athletic women, let alone men. They wanted to work out on weekends and wake up at six in the morning to go on runs. The worst part of all was that they expected her to join. Anything before noon was considered early to Clarke, before ten? Brutal. And if there wasn't a mug of coffee made or offered...well Raven was good at making sure there was coffee. For Lexa though (okay so even Lexa wouldn't be tolerated in waking her, or trying to make her exercise in anyway that involved clothes) but she'd make a definite exception for her anti-athlete rule. Blue eyes raised back up to calm green pools. "With this physique I had a feeling you weren't lying, but people have said more ridiculous things to lure me in. All of this had me impressed for sure though." Why was there always something large and wooden separating their bodies? Oh right, because they were always in public and it was more than likely best considering Lexa more times than not made the blonde feel like a fucking cat in heat.
Lexa chuckled. "I can only imagine. One thing you will learn about me, though, is that I do not lie if it can be at all avoided. Even when it comes to impressing beautiful women," she said honestly. She noticed that both of their drinks were empty, but instead of offering to buy another round, she slid out of the booth and held her hand out to Clarke. "Dance with me," she said. It wasn't a question, but it wasn't exactly a demand either.
Clarke could appreciate honesty, another liar was not something she strived to find. Finn had been plenty for a lifetime. Having come between her and the woman she considered her sister. She had felt terrible for the way things turned out, but in true Raven fashion she had pushed through and persecuted the person who had deserved it and they had mended easily. Now it was even a joke and she was glad. Partners came and left, but Raven was forever. Blue eyes followed Lexa's movements glancing to her hand then back to her face before nodding and taking it, slipping from the booth. The taller woman's hand was warm and strong and Clarke felt her breathing hitch at the thought of being pressed into the lean body
Lexa licked her lips and turned her head toward the small dance floor, letting her smile take over her expression when Clarke couldn't see it. She schooled her face into a more neutral expression, though she couldn't stop the way the edges of her lips curled up without her permission. The song was perfect for them to dance to, not too fast or frantic, but not slow either. She turned to face Clarke, not letting go of her hand, her other hand resting carefully on Clarke's waist. "You know, this is the closest we've ever been to each other," she observed.
Clarke pressed into Lexa more than willingly, loving the feeling of the weight at her hip. "It really is. Usually we have something keeping us apart." the blonde agreed, own free hand moving to rest at the brunette's shoulder. "You are very seldom standing straight, I like it." her hips pressed closer and she almost wanted to blush over her body betraying her when she was meant to appear calm and collected.
Lexa chuckled, sliding her hand around to the small of Clarke's back and pressing slightly, bringing their bodies flush. "I have terrible posture, I know. It is good to know I'm officially taller than you," she teased, subconsciously licking her lips as she looked into Clarke's eyes. She wouldn't have been able to name the song that was playing in that moment if someone had offered her one billion dollars; her attention was completely on Clarke. "I don't think I have ever officially told you, but you are beautiful," she said, her eyes never leaving the expressive blue ones in front of her.
With the proximity Clarke could feel as well as hear Lexa's deep, yet feminane laugh saddened as it drifted to an end. The feeling was short lived as she was pulled closer, pressed deeper in all that was Lexa. She smelled indescribable and it caused her lids to droop ever so slightly as she swayed slowly against the defined body that nearly encompassed her. She'd never felt as if she was in such an intimate moment. So intuned with a person than she did right now. At the other woman's words her head ducked slightly, pressing her cheek against the brunette's chest as she hummed a 'thank you' while attempting to hide rose hued cheeks. "You are absolutely stunning...though I'm sure you knew that already."
Lexa sucked her bottom lip into her mouth, holding it in place with her teeth for a moment. "You flatter me, Clarke," she said so softly that the only reason Clarke could hear her was because they were so close. Her eyes kept flicking between Clarke's eyes and lips, dipping down to her neck and cleavage occasionally. She gently let go of Clarke's hand, sliding it up to the side of her neck instead. Everything inside her was telling her to kiss Clarke, but it all seemed so sudden, even though they'd been dancing around each other at the coffee shop for longer than she'd like to admit.
Clarke could feel Lexa's eyes on every inch of her, she'd become used to the feeling of the brunette's eyes on her skin. The rapt attention that they allowed her in every glance. How bare they made her feel every time as if Lexa could see past her clothes, her skin, muscle, and bone. Deep into her soul where she could slowly unravel every thought and mystery the blonde had lying in wait. A shiver ran down her spine, skin prickling as the other woman's hand charted new territory. The brunette was hesitating, over thinking, over complicating. So Clarke did the only thing she could think of doing. Lifting the few inches she had to make them slightly even she used the hand on the taller woman's shoulder to slide to the back of her neck giving an encouraging squeeze before pulling her closer, letting her own lips meet Lexa's midway
Lexa gasped softly as Clarke pulled her closer, her breath being stolen as their lips touched. It wasn't a particularly deep kiss, only their lips moving gently across each others, exploring, tasting, feeling, but it made her knees feel like jello. She was glad they were holding onto each other so closely or else she might have fallen like a house of cards. When they finally broke for air a few moments later, Lexa's eyes remained shut as she smiled, a breathy, "Wow," escaping.
Clarke couldn't keep the smile off her lips, eyes nearly sparkling as she regained composure. "I've been wanting to do that for months now. And now I can't lose my job for doing it." she joked lightly, fingers still massaging gently at the nape of Lexa's neck before her fingers slow dropped to trail along the woman's spine. "I hope you didn't mind..I just..figured we've been toying with it for a bit over a half year.."
Lexa shook her head, her thumb gently caressing Clarke's cheek. "I don't mind at all. I've also wanted to do it for quite some time. It was well worth the wait, though," she said, not moving her hands from where they rested on Clarke's cheek and back, but gently pushed her backwards so they were more on the edge of the small dance floor, in a slightly more shadowed area. "I need to know three things before we continue," she said, her expression turning serious, but her eyes still sparkling.
Clarke was loving this new level of touching. She had always been a more physical person. Feeling comfort more in soft touches and cuddling. In being held, or stroked. Hell sometimes she'd crawl into bed with Raven, bleary eyed and slightly chilled before slipping under the comforter and nuzzling into the mechanic's back. "Yeah it was.." she agreed easily slightly amused as Lexa backed her away from prying eyes and ears. At the change in demeanor she raised a questioning brow. "I'm not a serial killer, mother, or drug dealer. Did I pass?"
Lexa laughed, not expecting that. "Those were not my questions, but very good things to know. I, also, am not a serial killer, mother, or drug dealer. Though I would like to explore one of those things some day," she said with a grin. "I need to know your last name, if you'll go on a date with me, and if you'd like another drink."
"I did binge watch Weeds once, I'm sure you'll make an amazing profit. You come with your own muscles." Clarke joked though she fully understood what Lexa meant. If anything, oddly enough, it was another turn on and suddenly she was picturing a little many Lexa with a poof of curly brunette locks and striking blu- WOAH reel it in there Griffin it was one fucking kiss. At Lexa's actual questions her teasing grin softened at the edges. "Griffin, yes, and if by drink you mean your lips..well I say please let me have another." God when had she turned into fucking Raven?
Lexa furrowed her eyebrows, trying to figure out what Clarke was talking about. Thinking back over her words, she suddenly caught the joke and laughed, shaking her head. She liked Clarke's sense of humor. She liked laughing. She hadn't had someone make her laugh like that in a long, long time. "I even drive a hybrid, so it's great for drive bys," she joked, having seen the show many years before. "Well, Clarke Griffin, I have always tried to fulfill a beautiful woman's desires when possible," she said, licking her full lips as she took a half step closer to Clarke, pressing Clarke back against a wooden pillar, and dipped her head to kiss Clarke again. Her tongue teased across Clarke's bottom lip before sliding between them. She could feel her heart racing in her chest and was thankful for all the exercise she got so she wouldn't die from kissing Clarke.
"Great for the environment, not so much the neighborhood." Clarke teased fully enjoying Lexa's laugh being less constrained than usual. And then she was moving again, though it was less distance, her back colliding gently with one of the bar's wooden foundation struts a softly exhaled 'Oh..' leaving her lips as it had at Lexa's exclamation of being gay. Her lips that were suddenly taken control of quite easily, she was thankful for the sturdy beam and the toned body once tongue was introduced knees feeling as if they might go out as soft moan escaped before her own tongue began working against the brunette's
Lexa felt as if her skin was on fire in the most pleasant of ways. How long had it been since she kissed someone? How long had it been that she had wanted to kiss this specific someone? And, truthfully, reality was even better than she'd imagined. She let her hand slip back further on Clarke's neck, cradling Clarke's jawline in her hand as her other hand teased its fingertips just beneath the back of Clarke's shirt, settling on the warm skin of Clarke's back. When she pulled back just the slightest bit, her eyes darker green and her pupils blown wide, she gently nudged her nose against Clarke's. "Come home with me," she whispered, not even realizing she'd actually said the words aloud.
The gentle, innocent nudges of their noses together took on such a more passionate tone at the sight of those eyes. Those eyes that Clarke had studied day after day. Those eyes she had tried to capture in pencil, in pastel, and even paint. A shade she could never quite perfect had turned an ever richer color. Though both stunning this one held promises of things she'd only contemplated in the dead of night in her empty bed as the darkness surrounded and muffled her nearly desperate sounds. Her head was nodding then, before she had even fully processed the question she'd been asked "I'd like that" she finally husked as words drifted back and her mind remembered the concept of speech. Kissing Lexa again she forced herself back then, her own eyes dark and storm as they told Lexa the stories of her desire. "I just have to let Raven know."
Lexa smiled, blinking in something that was just almost surprise. "Yeah?" she asked, leaning in to press her lips against Clarke's in a chaste kiss. When Clarke said she needed to let Raven know, her mind caught up with her mouth. Holy shit, had she seriously just invited Clarke to come home with her? The invitation for sex may not have been explicit, but it was certainly implied. Did she even remember how to do it with another person? Fuck, what had she been thinking? Even as much as her heart pounded and her stomach turned, she didn't take back the invitation. No, Clarke had accepted. Clarke was a grown woman. Clarke knew what she was getting herself in to. "Yeah, um, of course. Is she going to be, you know, okay with it? I don't want to cause problems between you guys."
A perfectly manicured eyebrow twitched upwards in amusement at Lexa's sudden degradation into an awkward mess. It was cute and Clarke found her fingers gripping gently into the front of the taller woman's top to tug her slightly until they were closer to eye level. "Lexa, relax babe." she soothed before kissing the blundering and anxious brunette once more, firm and stable. A sign of how much she was sure of the situation at hand. Lips quirking a bit she let go to rub affectionately at a jaw that she was amazed didn't slice her hand open. "Raven isn't going to care. In fact she'll probably yell something vulgar while congratulating me. We're like sisters. Nothing more." she soothed because Raven could be a confusing concept for some people, they were both attractive, both queer. People just assumed, it was easy to assume.
Lexa let out a long, slow breath. Clarke had been calling her babe for quite some time now, but it felt different in the shadows of a small bar after they'd kissed. She nodded once, letting her eyes meet Clarke's again. "I believe you. It is just that some people are very protective of their friends," she explained. She didn't mention that she happened to be one of those people. "Come on, let's go tell her before I get us arrested for lewd and lascivious behavior."
Clarke felt better knowing that they were on the same page on the topic, she was tempted to tease the faintly bruising plump lips that were so beautifully close. Lexa was right though, she did want to get out of here. Out of these clothes. Into Lexa. If she wasn't so turned on by the thought she may have had the decency to blush. Clarke Griffin was beyond the point of blushing though. "Alright just one more." she finally conceded before pecking those lips quicker than she wanted to have. "Let's go. If anyone is going to be handcuffing you tonight it's going to be me." she teased while taking the woman's larger hand into her own
Lexa chuckled and smiled into the final kiss, leaning forward a bit to chase Clarke's lips as Clarke pulled away. As graceful as Lexa was, and she prided herself on being sure footed, she legitimately stumbled at Clarke's comment. If not for her hand held in Clarke's, it would have been much more awkward. Quick to recover, though, she cleared her throat. "I like to save the bondage until at least two official dates."
Raven had successfully gotten 4 free drinks, a personal record in 1 hour. Sure, they were all from the same sucker, but that counted! Happily drunk, she turned to watch Clarke and Lexa suck face and cheered from the bar. "Get a room, hoes!"
If Clarke had been looking towards Lexa the brunette would have seen the blush from the implications caused by her joking comment. So that was going to be something discussed for sure. Her blush only grew at Raven's rowdy calls. At this point she was going to faint from too much blood flow to her head. Reaching the drunken Latina she swatted at her playfully..yeah sure playfully. "Shut up. Are you safe to make it home alone? I'll make sure Maggie calls you a cab."
Raven nodded. "I'll be fine," she reassured. "You know I can take care of myself. Now go. Get laid. Use a dental dam if her business looks funny."
Lexa chuckled at Raven's taunt for them to get a room. That was pretty much the idea. Or, at least it would be if she didn't lose her nerve. Her eyebrows flew up her forehead and her eyes got comically wide as her entire face and ears and neck burned. "I can assure you, my business is just fine," she groused.
Clarke face palmed, right there in the middle of the bar she physically face palmed. "You are so embarrassing." Clarke grumbled leaning forward despite that to peck the irritating mechanic's cheek. "I'll come by the shop tomorrow before class. Love you."
Raven giggled, not caring that she had embarrassed them. Safety first! "Love you too, Clarkey-poo."
Clarke let out a soft groan with a shake of her head motioning to Raven until Maggie gave a nod of understanding. "You're an ass. Come on Lexa." sticking out her tongue she tugged the taller woman towards the door
Lexa let herself be lead from the small bar and out into the parking lot. Since Clarke didn't know where she as parked, or even what she drove for that matter, she took the lead and tugged Clarke by her hand to her hybrid. She unlocked the doors and held the passenger's side open for Clarke. "You're sure about this, right?" she asked softly, searching Clarke's eyes for any hesitance.
Clarke was glad Lexa took charge and lead them towards her own car. At least she could skip the whole conversation about failing her driving test four times at bay for now. A small smile fit across her lips as the door was opened for her, but pausing at the brunette's question. "Lexa, I'm sure. Relax." leaning up she kissed the taller once again. "I would have said 'no' if I didn't want you."
Lexa licked her lips at the end of the kiss, tasting Clarke and beer and warmth. She didn't miss the fact that Clarke had said 'want you' and not 'want to.' It made her smile. "All right, then. I should let you know, I have a dog. I can put her in her room if you're allergic or don't like dogs. She'll be pretty laid back as long as I tell her you're okay," she said as she slid in behind the steering wheel, glad she'd only had one beer.
