so it's true! she's here as well — there is no mistaking those argent locks. there's much he'd like to ask her, but for now, odin quells the urge, choosing to don a visage of cheer.
"ROBIN!" he exclaims, his voice carrying. it is the same feeling with every familiar face he sees here; a balm for the soul, a relief to know that he has not dreamt up the past. with a flourish befitting a stage, odin casts his cape aside as he descends into a grandiose bow, rising with a broad grin adorning his features. "by no mere coincidence, our paths intertwine once more, our destinies woven together in this serendipitous encounter!"
with an elaborate gesture, odin extends a pristine, white feather toward her. "a trade to remember this fine night! should you find yourself unencumbered after the festivities...i'd like to hear about your storied journey to these shores. the tales you have to share must be as captivating as the whispered secrets of the winds that guide us!"
Her name is bellowed, and she turns to greet him with a beaming smile. He is as she remembers - no, not quite. Taller, more... assured. But she knows him all the same, and her eyes soften with the joy of a companion rediscovered.
"Owain," she calls, waving to him. He bows, and she chuckles to herself - he still speaks the same, he still flourishes the same. "It's good to see you," she agrees.
He holds the feather to her and she laughs, taking it lightly from his hand. "Thank you, Owain. May I offer this - fine gem, in return. Perhaps you'll be able to unlock it's powers given time." A teardrop crystal is plucked from her shawl and placed in the hand that once held the feather.
"I'd love to find you and catch up. I've missed you all, after..."
After what? After her sacrifice?
Did she miss them, when she was nothing? Or did she just miss them now, when she awoke?
She shakes her head. "I've missed you," she tries again. "I'm glad to see you well."
