Since you asked what’s on your mind I always wanted to ask you about cheerleading in college. I’m a gymnast so I would like to continue tumbling on my College’s team. How did you like it? Did you feel objectified in front of large crowd? What about the nerves?
Oooooooo you should go for it we had several ex-gymnasts on our team and it brought our tumbling scores up incredibly!!
I loved it babe!! Still till this DAY my dream is to be a DCC. It’s one of my 2 favourite sports so to me it was “my paradise” - ten voice 🙃
Uhhh, no I didn’t feel objectified but I can’t see shit without my glasses and I constantly refused to wear my contacts so the crowds were blurry 😭
I’m not the nervous sort by nature.. but I think you get used to it much like you would in gymnastics. Probably even easier since you aren’t the only one being watched, your whole team is moving with you.
I’m putting this song in my track because a year ago I made a cheer out of this song with my cheer sisters. This cheer was very hard to teach and so hard for them to get. After showing them how to do it over and over again. I will never forget when this cheer started a cheer off battle with the other team. As our cheer leading coach always told us “ Y’all better shut them girls down” or “ Y’all going to running up and down them bleachers when y’all get back to practice.” I would never change meeting you girls !
Am I the only one who thinks TGLC should've gotten 2nd

"Your Favorite Photo You've Taken (Or Top Three)"
I love these girls. I love these photos. This is just a little representation of our day/ weekend... I think it's a great portrayal of each of our personalities. We are a bunch of crazy, weird, loud, wonderful ladies- I wouldn't trade my memories with them for anything in the world.
I snapped this at Pollard Gulch in northern California on the final stretch of our cross-country journey. We didn't have much time to stop off and "see the sights" along the way (especially with the addition of four blown tires), but I am grateful for the random stops we got in toward the end. The Pacific Northwest is gorgeous!
This is one of my all-time favorite photos. One of my oldest friends, Jonathan DeHate, snapped this as Coty and I were exiting the reception. I wasn't able to have a "dream wedding," or whatever you want to call it... Coty and I got married in Wichita Falls, TX, and then had a ceremony at our church in Ocala, FL. We were pretty stretched for time and cash, so the whole thing was sort of cheap and thrown together... but I really don't mind. I had a good time celebrating our love with our family and friends, and I am so very thankful that Jonathan could capture this moment for us.
