i’d like to say there’ll be a new fanfic out soon, but the writers block has been at an all time high :\ i do have a pretty good idea and a hell of a lot of free time to fill so hopefully i can put something together

hiya! so this is for a speech i’m doing in like a month or so, and i thought including some real data and statistics may be pretty cool :)

my speech, if you couldn’t tell already, is about the effects of media, specifically fantasy & sci-fi, on society. i may do some more polls later down the line when i actually start properly putting my speech together, but i guess we’ll see

ahhhhh just hit 100 hits on my first fanfic :))

its so lovely that there are red dwarf fans, or more specifically rimmer / lister fans that are reading it, and even leaving comments or kudos, nice to see an older fandom continue to get the love it deserves

so my next red dwarf fanfic idea 👀

it’s a rimmer/lister fic (obviously) that fills in what happens after the s8 finale, including how nano rimmer survived, what happened to lister + the others, and how they end up back on red dwarf.

AND the best bit: the return of ace / holo rimmer 😌

it’ll be a longer fic and probably take me a little while to properly get going, but i’m in the planning stage now and have most of it mapped out. hoping to have it up on ao3 within the next month or so!
