The logo for Cheez TV (which just had its 30th anniversary) was made out of two dingbats from the font Big Cheese (1992).

Most clip art packages are really straight. We wanted to create things that had implied levels of meaning but didn't have any real meaning. You would read meaning into it, and hopefully through usage they will start to have a meaning.

The "cheeZ tv" text is in Citizen (1986).

Citizen was inspired by the results of applying automatic smoothing to a pixel font (specifically, the font Universal 8).

The only other example of Citizen that I'm aware of is the logo for Black Hawk Down.

The Color's show Comedy Nights Bachao has been quite popular over the past few months. Compared to the real, organic cheese the first three episodes served us on a platter, "Changeling" is, in fact, cheez whiz. But it's true: Afternoons past were spent plopped in front of TV, mindlessly working my way through a stack of Pringles, washing it down with Dr Pepper. On Wednesday, NBC announced a plan to stage Hairspray, the musical adaptation of John Waters' 1988 film of the same name, as the latest in their series of Broadway-meets-live-TV broadcasts. Always a destiny's child Kabir Bedi has been known for his wild ways and numerous love affairs.

Just took a walk down nostalgia way and watched the last episode of Cheez TV (the old morning show if you cannot remember). It was actually really cool to watch...surprisingly emotional though haha
